ฝันรักฝันสลาย (2560/2017) ณ หมู่บ้านแร้นแค้น นอกแผ่นดินไทย เหมยลี่ (ลัลล์ลลิน เตจะสาเวศซ์) และหญิงสาวในหมู่บ้านเกือบ 10 คน วางแผนเตรียมตัวที่จะหลบหนีออกนอกประเทศเพื่อไปอเมริกา เพราะต้องการมีชีวิตใหม่ที่ดีกว่าเก่า โดยมีเจียง (ศรัณยู ประชากริช) หนุ่มบ้านเดียวกันที่ไปปักหลักอยู่ในเมืองไทยอาสาเป็นนายหน้าพาทุกคนหลบหนีออกนอกประเทศ เจียง พาสาวๆ ทั้ง10 คน ลัดเลาะแนวตะเข็บชายแดน แต่ผู้กองอู๋ (อภินันท์ ประเสริฐวัฒนกุล) ก็ตามมาพร้อมกับประกาศให้ทุกคนถอยกลับ แต่เหมยลี่และทุกคนไม่ยอมถอย หนีสุดชีวิต รอดเพียงเจียงกับเหมยลี่ ทั้งคู่หลบหนีไปพร้อมกลุ่มชาวบ้าน ถูกซ่อนตัวเบียดกันไปในรถบรรทุกผัก เพื่อหลบหนีการตรวจของตำรวจ เมื่อผ่านด่านตรวจ ทั้งหมดก็เดินเท้าลัดเลาะอย่างยากลำบากไปตามเส้นทางแนวป่าของชายแดน จนกระทั่งข้ามมาถึงฝั่งไทย กรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทย ผู้กองปกรณ์ (นาวิน เยาวพลกุล) หัวหน้าทีมตามจับแก๊งค์ลูกหมูหรือขบวนการลักลอบค้ามนุษย์ข้ามชาติ ได้รับมอบหมายให้เป็นพี่เลี้ยงฝึกตำรวจใหม่ให้กับหมวดออม (วันสิริ อ่องอำไพ) หมวดสาวที่เพิ่งเรียนจบ ปกรณ์ได้ชื่อว่าเป็นผู้กองขาโหดดุดันและทำงานจริงจัง เขาจึงไม่ชอบใจนักที่ต้องมาเป็นพี่เลี้ยงให้กับตำรวจหญิง ปกรณ์จึงมอบหมายให้จ่าอู๊ด (ศุภณัฐ เฉลิมชัยเจริญกิจ) คอยดูแลและให้คำแนะนำต่างๆ กับหมวดออมแทน ทำให้เธอไม่พอใจและหมั่นไส้ผู้กองปกรณ์ตั้งแต่แรกเจอ ปกรณ์มีนัดกับสายสืบเพื่อล่อจับ หมงรัชดา (วรฤทธิ์ เฟื่องอารมณ์) หัวหน้าแก๊งค์ลูกหมู มาเฟียใหญ่ที่ลักลอบค้ามนุษย์ ออมขอติดตามไปด้วย แต่ปกรณ์สั่งให้ทำงานเอกสารอยู่ที่โรงพัก แต่เธอไม่เชื่อแอบตามไปและทำให้คนร้ายรู้ตัวหนีรอดไปได้ ปกรณ์โกรธมาก จึงเข้าพบหัวหน้าเพื่อขอให้คนอื่นมารับหน้าที่เป็นพี่เลี้ยงให้กับออม แต่หัวหน้าไม่อนุญาตเพราะต้องการให้มีตำรวจหญิงอยู่ในทีม เพื่อช่วยในการจับกุม เพราะปกรณ์มักจะถูกร้องเรียนว่าใช้ความรุนแรงกับผู้ต้องหาหญิงบ่อยๆ ออมขอโทษปกรณ์ที่เป็นต้นเหตุทำให้งานผิดพลาดและขอโอกาสเพื่อเรียนรู้งาน เพราะตัวเองอยากเป็นตำรวจที่เก่งและสานต่ออุดมการณ์ของพ่อซึ่งเป็นตำรวจและตายในหน้าที่ตอนเธออายุ 15 ปกรณ์ได้ฟังเรื่องของออม จึงเริ่มอ่อนข้อให้กับเธอลงบ้าง เจียงแยกตัวเหมยลี่และหญิงสาวทั้งหมดออกจากกลุ่มและพาเข้ากรุงเทพทันที ไม่มีใครรู้ชะตากรรมว่ากำลังจะเกิดอะไรขึ้นกับชีวิตพวกเธอทั้งหมดถูกพามาขังยังตึกแถวกลางเมืองที่ชั้นล่างเป็นสถานบันเทิงแต่ชั้นบนเป็นที่ขายบริการทางเพศ เจียงบอกให้ทุกคนรู้ว่าต้องขายตัวเพื่อหาเงินสำหรับเป็นค่าเดินทางไปอเมริกา เหมยลี่และหญิงสาวคนอื่นต่างตื่นกลัวไม่คิดว่าจะต้องมาเจอกับเหตุการณ์แบบนี้ ทุกคนขอร้องเจียงให้ทำงานวิธีอื่น แต่เจียงปฏิเสธและยื่นคำขาดให้รู้ว่าถ้าใครขัดขืนต้องตายสถานเดียว เหมยลี่ ถูกบังคับให้รับแขกคนแรกในวันรุ่งขึ้น แต่ก่อนที่เหมยลี่จะถูกขืนใจ ปกรณ์ก็นำกำลังตำรวจรวมทั้งหมวดออมเข้ามาบุกค้น มีการปะทะยิงกันระหว่างเจียงกับตำรวจ แต่เจียงหนีไปได้ เหมยลี่และคนอื่นๆ ต่างวิ่งหนีกันอลหม่านไปตามช่องทางเดินในตึกโดยไม่รู้ว่าจะออกไปทางไหน ปกรณ์เห็นเหมยลี่วิ่งเลี้ยวไปตามทางจึงไล่ตามเธอไป เหมยลี่เห็นจวนตัวจึงปีนหลบออกไปนอกหน้าต่างเกาะอยู่บนระเบียง เมื่อมองลงไปยังด้านล่างพบว่าเธออยู่บนตึกสูงนับสิบชั้น เหมยลี่ได้แต่ภาวนาขอให้ปกรณ์หาเธอไม่เจอ แต่แล้วปกรณ์ก็เห็นจนได้และบอกให้เธอมอบตัว แต่เหมยลี่ตัดสินใจเสี่ยงตายโดดลงจากตึก โชคเป็นของเหมยลี่ที่โดดลงมาบนรถบรรทุกจึงรอดชีวิตไปอย่างหวุดหวิด เหมยลี่ได้พบกับ ชาง (เอกพงศ์ จงเกษกรณ์) หนุ่มบ้านเดียวกันและมีความฝันที่จะไปอเมริกาเช่นเดียวกับเธอ แต่ชางมาตกค้างอยู่ในเมือง ไทยเกือบ 2 ปีเพราะไม่มีเงินจ่ายให้กับนายหน้า เขาจึงต้องหลบๆ ซ่อนๆ เพื่อทำงานเก็บเงินสำหรับค่าเดินทาง ตำรวจส่งตัวหญิงสาวและคนต่างด้าวที่ถูกจับได้ทั้งหมดกลับไปยังประเทศของพวกเขา ปกรณ์รายงานผู้การยงยุทธ (ศานติ สันติเวชชกุล) ว่ายังมีหญิงสาวอีกคนที่หนีรอดไปได้คือเหมยลี่ หัวหน้าจึงสั่งให้ติดตามเอาตัวเธอกลับมาให้ได้ ขณะเดียวกันผู้การอู๋ ก็เดินทางมาประสานกับตำรวจไทย เพื่อต้องการจัดตัวเหมยลี่และชางกลับไปประเทศของตน ซึ่งปกรณ์ไม่ชอบใจนัก เพราะรู้สึกว่าผู้กองอู๋ชอบใช้วิธีการรุนแรง จับตายมากกว่าจับเป็น ไม่สนใจใคร ทำให้ชางกับเหมยลี่ มีคนที่ตามล่าตัวหลายฝ่าย ชางพาเหมยลี่ไปหลบซ่อนตัวอยู่ที่ศาลเจ้ากับเหว่ย (ภัคศรุจน์ นาคาฮาร่า) และเปา (กิตติพงศ์ โพชสาลี) สองหนุ่มต่างด้าวท่าทางไม่น่าไว้ใจที่หนีเข้าเมืองมาพร้อมกับชาง เหมยลี่ได้เจอกับ กิมลั้ง (ภัณฑิลา ฟูกลิ่น) ซึ่งเป็นลูกสาวของแปะชิง (เฮียหมู บางรัก) ชายชราผู้ดูแลศาลกิมลั้งหลงรักชาง เธอจึงไม่พอใจที่เห็นชางพาผู้หญิงอื่นมาอยู่ด้วย ชางพาเหมยลี่ไปฝากงานเป็นคนล้างจานในร้านอาหารที่ตัวเองเป็นผู้ช่วยพ่อครัว ทุกๆ วัน ชางจะนำอาหารมาแบ่งให้เหมยลี่กิน และคอยดูแลเป็นห่วงเป็นใย ทำให้กิมลั้งยิ่งเกลียดเหมยลี่ ในขณะที่เหว่ยกับเปามักจะเข้ามาแทะโลมลวนลามเหมยลี่ บ่อยๆ แต่ชางคอยช่วยเหลือและขัดขวางไม่ให้ทั้งสองทำอะไรเธอ ชางบอกให้เหมยลี่รู้ว่าจะต้องใช้เงินถึงห้าแสนบาทเพื่อจ่ายสำหรับค่าทำหนังสือเดินทางปลอมและค่าตั๋วเครื่องบิน เหมยฟังจำนวนเงินแล้วถึงกับท้อ แต่ชางให้กำลังใจว่าเขาจะช่วยเธอเก็บเงินและสัญญาว่าจะเดินทางไปอเมริกาด้วยกัน วันนึงหลังเลิกงาน เหมยลี่ต้องกลับศาลเจ้าเพียงลำพังเพราะชางไม่อยู่ ระหว่างเดินกลับ เหมยลี่เจอกับปกรณ์และหมวดออมอย่างจัง ตอนแรกปกรณ์จำเธอไม่ได้แต่แล้วก็เอะใจว่าเคยเห็นเธอมาก่อน ปกรณ์จึงแยกจากหมวดออมแล้วตามเหมยลี่ไป เหมยลี่ลัดเลาะหนีไปตามตรอกหลังตลาดจนปกรณ์คลาดสายตากับเธอ แต่ยังไม่ทันที่เหมยลี่จะหนีพ้นเธอก็พบกับเจียง เจียงบอกให้เหมยลี่ตามกลับไปแต่เหมยลี่ไม่ยอมเจียงจึงเข้ามาทำร้าย แต่ปกรณ์ย้อนกลับมาดูจึงเกิดการปะทะกับเจียง เจียงจึงจำใจต้องปล่อยเหมยลี่และหนีไป เหมยลี่ขอร้องปกรณ์ให้ปล่อยตัวเธอ แต่ปกรณ์ไม่ยอมจะเอาตัวไปโรงพัก โชคดีที่ชางเห็นเหตุการณ์ทั้งหมดและเป็นจังหวะเดียวกับที่หมวดออมตามหาปกรณ์ ชางจึงเข้าล็อคตัวหมวดออมเพื่อขอแลกเปลี่ยนกับเหมยลี่ ปกรณ์จึงจำเป็นต้องยอมปล่อยตัวเธอ ชางพาเหมยลี่กลับมาที่ศาลเจ้าและคิดจะหาที่อยู่ใหม่เพราะกลัวปกรณ์และเจียงจะตามมาเจอ แต่ปรากฏว่าเงินเก็บที่ชางซ่อนไว้เกือบห้าหมื่นบาทหายไป เหว่ยและเปากลับเข้ามาชางจึงถามทั้งสองว่าเอาเงินไปหรือไม่ ทั้งสองปฏิเสธแต่กิมลั้งบอกว่าเห็นเปาเข้ามาค้นหาของของชางเมื่อวันก่อน ชางโกรธเข้าค้นตัวเปาและพบว่ามีเงินอยู่หลายหมื่น จึงชกต่อยกัน กิมลั้งด่าว่าเป็นเพราะเหมยลี่ทุกคนจึงทะเลาะกัน ออมขอโทษปกรณ์อีกครั้งที่เป็นต้นเหตุทำให้เขาจับเหมยลี่ไม่ได้ ครั้งนี้ปกรณ์ไม่ได้ตำหนิเธอ แต่เตือนให้ระวังตัวมากกว่านี้ ออมปลื้มใจที่อย่างน้อยปกรณ์ยังเป็นห่วงเธอ จ่าอู๊ดเห็นออมอารมณ์ดีเลยแซว ออมจึงเล่าให้ฟังว่าหลังจากที่พ่อเธอตาย ปกรณ์คือคนที่ตามล่าจับคนร้ายมาลงโทษให้พ่อ นับแต่นั้นมาเขาคือฮีโร่ในใจเธอ และนี่เป็นสาเหตุที่ทำให้เธออยากใกล้ชิดทำงานร่วมทีมกับเขา ปกรณ์ให้ออมและจ่าอู๊ดสืบตามหาตัวเหมยลี่กับชาง จนรู้ว่าทั้งสองอาศัยอยู่ที่ศาลเจ้า แต่เมื่อปกรณ์นำกำลังมาจับกลับไม่พบใครนอกจากแปะชิงกับกิมลั้ง แปะชิงปฏิเสธไม่รู้ไม่เห็น แต่กิมลั้งแอบบอกปกรณ์ว่าเหมยลี่มาพักอยู่ที่นี่แต่หนีไปแล้ว ปกรณ์จึงฝากเบอร์โทรศัพท์ให้กิมลั้งไว้ บอกว่าหากเหมยลี่หรือมีใครกลับมาให้กิมลั้งโทรกลับจะให้รางวัล ชางพาเหมยลี่ไปขออาศัยอยู่กับเจ้าของร้านอาหารที่ทั้งสองทำงานอยู่ เจ้าของร้านจึงให้ทั้งสองนอนห้องเดียวกันเพราะคิดว่าเป็นผัวเมีย ระหว่างที่ทั้งสองนอนร่วมห้อง ชางเปิดเผยความในใจให้เหมยลี่ได้รู้ว่าเขารักเธอ แต่เหมลี่ยขอเวลาชางเพราะเพิ่งรู้จักกันไม่นาน เหว่ยและเปาไปสมัครทำงานเป็นแรงงานเถื่อนให้กับเจียง ลูกน้องของเจียงชวนทั้งสองคุยเรื่องผู้หญิง ทั้งสองจึงหลุดปากพูดถึงเหมยลี่ขึ้นมา เจียงสนใจและซักถามจนรู้ว่าเป็นเหมยลี่เดียวกับที่เขากำลังตามหา เหว่ยและเปาจึงบอกให้เจียงรู้ว่าเหมยลี่ทำงานอยู่ที่เจียงตามไปลากตัวเหมยลี่มาจากร้านอาหารที่เหมยลี่ทำงานและทำร้ายชางกับคนในร้านเกือบตาย และเอาตัวเหมยลี่ไปขายให้กับหมงรัชดา หมงเห็นเหมยลี่แล้วชอบใจในความกล้าบ้าบิ่นที่หนี ตำรวจมาได้ หมงบอกเจียงว่าขอทดสอบนอนกับเธอก่อนแล้วค่อยปล่อยให้นอนกับแขก แต่ยังไม่ทันที่หมงจะขืนใจเหมยลี่ ปกรณ์ก็ได้รับรายงานว่าหมงรัชดาอยู่ที่บาร์เถื่อน จึงนำกำลังตำรวจเข้าปิดล้อมและบุกจับแต่หมงและเจียงหนีไปได้ ปกรณ์เจอเหมยอีกครั้งเขาจึงไล่ตามจับเธอ เหมยหนีขึ้นไปบนชั้นดาดฟ้าและจนมุม ปกรณ์บอกให้เธอมอบตัวแต่เหมยร้องไห้คุกเข่าอ้อนวอนขอร้องปกรณ์ให้ปล่อยเธอ และเล่าความจริงว่าเธอถูกแก๊งค์ลูกหมูหลอกลวงว่าจะพาไปอเมริกาแต่พวกมันกลับบังคับให้เธอขายตัว แม้ปกรณ์จะเห็นใจในชะตากรรมของเธอ แต่เขายืนยันที่จะต้องจับเธอส่งกลับบ้านเกิด เหมยลี่ใช้ไม้ตายขู่ว่าหากเขาไม่ปล่อยเธอไปเธอจะโดดตึกยอมตาย ในขณะที่ออมกับจ่าอู๊ดนำกำลังตำรวจตามปกรณ์ขึ้นมาบนดาดฟ้า เหมยลี่ทำท่าจะโดดจริงๆ ปกรณ์จึงตัดสินใจให้เหมยลี่หลบตำรวจในถังขยะ และพาเธอไปซ่อนตัวที่บ้านพักของเขา เหมยลี่ขอบคุณที่ปกรณ์ไม่ส่งเธอให้ตำรวจ ปกรณ์บอกจะควบคุมตัวเธอไว้ที่บ้านของเขาก่อน เหมยลี่ไม่มีเงินทองหรือของมีค่าใดๆที่จะให้ปกรณ์เพื่อตอบแทน เธอจึงเสนอตัวให้ปกรณ์นอนกับเธอเป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนที่เขาช่วยเหลือเธอตลอดชีวิตการทำงาน ปกรณ์ไม่เคยอ่อนข้อหรือลดหย่อนกฎเกณฑ์ให้ใคร แต่สำหรับเหมยคงเป็นเพราะความใสซื่อและจริงใจของเธอ จึงทำให้เขาหวั่นไหว ปกรณ์ปฏิเสธไม่นอนกับเหมยลี่ และให้เธอซ่อนตัวอยู่ในห้อง สั่งห้ามไม่ให้ออกไปไหน เพราะเขาจะลองหาทางช่วยเหลือให้เธอได้ไปอเมริกา เหมยลี่ร้องไห้ด้วยความดีใจคุกเข่าต่อหน้าปกรณ์อีกครั้งและสัญญาว่าหากเธอได้ไปอเมริกาเธอจะไม่ลืมบุญคุณที่เขามีต่อเธอ ปกรณ์ต้องขอร้องแม่ (ปวีณา ชารีฟสกุล) ให้เหมยลี่อยู่ในบ้านด้วย แม้แม่ปกรณ์จะไม่ชอบใจ แต่ก็จำยอม แต่พยายามกดดันให้เหมยลี่หาที่อยู่ใหม่ เพื่อที่ปกรณ์จะได้ไม่เดือดร้อน รวมทั้งบอกว่าปกรณ์มีคู่หมั้นคู่หมายคือเก๋ (อรุณณภา พาณิชจรูญ) ไม่อยากให้เข้าใจผิด หัวหน้าถามถึงความคืบหน้าเรื่องเหมยลี่ ออมและจ่าอู๊ดรายงานว่ายังไม่เจอตัว แต่ปกรณ์กลับนิ่งเฉยไม่พูดอะไรเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้จนออมแปลกใจ จ่าอู๊ดชวนปกรณ์ไปกินข้าววันเกิดออม ปกรณ์ปฏิเสธบอกว่ามีธุระสำคัญทำให้ออมน้อยใจจึงตามไปที่ห้องพักเพื่อตัดพ้อต่อว่า แต่ออมต้องตกตะลึงเมื่อพบเหมยลี่ ออมผิดหวังในตัวปกรณ์มากที่รู้ว่าเขาแอบลักลอบซ่อนเหมยลี่ไว้ทั้งๆที่รู้ว่าผิดกฎหมาย ออมตรงดิ่งไปหาหัวหน้าเพื่อรายงานให้หัวหน้าเล่นงานปกรณ์ แต่เธอก็ต้องเปลี่ยนใจ เพราะความรักที่มีต่อปกรณ์ ออมรู้ดีว่าหากเธอรายงานไป ปกรณ์จะต้องถูกพักงานและอาจจะต้องติดคุก เธอจึงได้แต่โกรธและเก็บเรื่องนี้ไว้คนเดียวโดยไม่กล้าบอกใครแม้แต่จ่าอู๊ด เหมยลี่กลัวว่าปกรณ์จะต้องเดือดร้อนเพราะเธอ จึงหนีไปโดยไม่บอกลาเหมยลี่กลับมาหาชางที่ร้านอาหารแต่ไม่เจอใคร เหมยลี่จึงลองกลับไปที่ศาลเจ้าและได้เจอกับกิมลั้ง เหมยลี่ถามข่าวชางแต่กิมลั้งบอกว่าไม่ได้กลับมาที่นี่ เหมยจึงขออาศัยอยู่ด้วย แต่กิมลั้งปฏิเสธ ท่ามกลางฝนที่ตกหนัก เหมยลี่เดินไปอย่างสะเปะสะปะโดยไม่รู้จุดหมายว่าจะไปที่ใดจนได้เจอกับชาง ทั้งสองโผกอดกันด้วยความดีใจ ชางบอกว่าเขากลับมาอาศัยอยู่ที่ศาลเจ้าและกำลังไปหางานใหม่ทำ แต่กิมลั้งโกหกไม่บอกความจริงเหมยลี่เพราะไม่ต้องการให้เหมยลี่ได้เจอกับชางอีก เหมยลี่เล่าเรื่องที่เกิดขึ้นให้ชางฟัง ชางแปลกใจที่ปกรณ์ช่วยเหลือและให้ที่หลบซ่อน แก่เหมยลี่ทั้งๆ ที่เขาเป็นตำรวจ เหมยลี่กล่าวชื่นชมในความดีของปกรณ์จนชางรู้สึกได้ว่าเธอชอบปกรณ์ แต่เหมยลี่ปฏิเสธเพราะไม่อยากให้ชางเสียใจ กิมลั้งแอบมองทั้งสองอย่างไม่พอใจและโทรหาปกรณ์บอกให้รู้ว่าเหมยลี่กลับมาที่ศาลเจ้า ปกรณ์รีบตามมาแต่ชางพาเหมยลี่หนีไปก่อนหน้าแล้ว ชางเจอคนรู้จักและแนะนำให้ทำงานก่อสร้างในตึกแถวแห่งหนึ่ง ชางจึงพาเหมยลี่มาอยู่ด้วย โดยไม่รู้ว่าตึกแถวแห่งนี้เป็นของหมงรัชดา จนกระทั่งเจียงมาตรวจดูงานแทนหมงและเจอกับเหมยลี่ ที่สุดชางพาเหมยลี่หนีการตามล่าของเจียงจนเกือบเอาชีวิตไม่รอด แต่ปกรณ์ตามมาช่วยทั้งสองไว้ได้และฆ่าเจียงตาย ปกรณ์หาที่ซ่อนตัวให้เหมยลี่กับชาง เหมยขอร้องปกรณ์ไม่ให้จับชางส่งตำรวจเพราะเขาเป็นคนที่ดีต่อเธอ ชางลอบมองความสัมพันธ์ของทั้งสองและรับรู้ว่า เหมยลี่มีใจให้ปกรณ์ ชางถามเหมยลี่อีกครั้งถึงความรู้สึกที่เธอมีต่อเขาเหมยลี่อ้ำอึ้ง ชางจึงตัดใจทิ้งเธอไว้กับปกรณ์ ปกรณ์จัดการทำเรื่องให้เหมยได้เดินทางไปอเมริกาด้วยความช่วยเหลือของหมวดออม แม้ว่าออมจะไม่เต็มใจช่วย แต่เพื่อยุติไม่ให้ปกรณ์ถลำตัวไปกับเหมยลี่มากกว่านี้ ออมจึงรีบจัดการทุกอย่างให้จบโดยเร็ว ในที่สุดวันที่เหมยฝันไว้ก็มาถึงปกรณ์พาเหมยมาส่งที่สนามบินเพื่อขึ้นเครื่องเดินทางไปอเมริกา ทั้งสองร่ำลากันด้วยหัวใจที่เปี่ยมสุข และปกรณ์สัญญาว่าจะบินไปหาเธอที่นั่น ในขณะที่ออมมองทั้งสองด้วยหัวใจที่ปวดร้าว หลังจากส่งเหมยลี่ที่สนามบินปกรณ์กับออมก็แยกกลับ แต่ทั้งสองหารู้ไม่ว่าหมงส่งคนมาจับตัวเหมยลี่ก่อนที่จะขึ้นเครื่อง Run tries to explain that it was Bua's first time, but Rommanee refuses to listen. Aom adds fuel to the fire, claiming that before Bua was Run's girl, she had slept with multiple rich men, including Sia Petch. Run is stunned. Rommanee then forces him to speak to Jay Or on the phone. Jay Or solidifies the lie, confirming that she did indeed send Bua to sleep with Sia Petch.

Bua denies the accusations, claiming she is being framed, and finally tells Run that she is Sia Petch's younger sister. But Run, blinded by fury, refuses to listen to any explanations. Devastated and feeling betrayed by both his best friend and the woman he loves, he banishes Bua from his life, telling her he never wants to see her again. Heartbroken that Run doesn't believe her, Bua leaves him with a shattered heart.

Rinrada is equally devastated upon hearing that Sia Petch is supposedly a womanizer. She swears to never get involved with him again. Aom and Rommanee are thrilled to have finally eliminated Bua from Run's life. Rommanee arranges for her son to formally propose to Aom. Run doesn't object, but Rommanee is left utterly humiliated when Aom's family demands a multi-million baht dowry that she cannot afford. Run then reveals the truth: his family is completely broke. Hearing this, Aom shows her true colors and immediately refuses to marry Run.

Sia Petch desperately tries to contact Rinrada, but she refuses to see him. Eventually, he tracks her down, explains everything, and takes her to meet his family, finally proving that Bua is indeed his younger sister. Rinrada and Sia Petch then hatch a plan to reconcile Run and Bua. Rinrada takes her brother to a fashion show, where he finally comes face-to-face with Bua in her true element: Rawinworakarn, the high-society sister of Sia Petch.

Run is both stunned and overjoyed to see Bua again and finally realizes who she truly is. He apologizes and takes full responsibility for being gullible and believing others over her. But Bua refuses to forgive him, mocking him by saying he only accepts her now because she is a wealthy socialite, implying he is just after her money. Bua kicks Run out of her life, just as he once did to her, and demands he repay the debt they covered for him. Determined, Run sells his house and car to repay the debt, refusing to grovel for reconciliation.

Run returns the check to Bua and heads back to Prague, his heart just as broken as the one Bua is inflicting upon herself. Sia Petch, Rinrada, and Cartoon try to persuade Bua to forgive Run, but to no avail. Finally, a remorseful Rommanee personally comes to apologize to Bua, begging her to forgive Run. She admits she now knows her son loves only Bua, regardless of whether she is Rawinworakarn or Buarawong the sideline girl.

Eventually, Bua's heart softens. She travels to Run in Prague, presenting herself as Buarawong once again. The two promise to love and trust each other for eternity...

In the past, Jae Hong and Jae Kim were best friends because their fathers were close friends and co-owned a market together. However, one day Jae Kim betrayed Jae Hong by tricking P'Aed, Jae Hong's boyfriend, into going on a trip and secretly slipping an aphrodisiac into his drink. Unable to control his natural urges, P'Aed ended up sleeping with Jae Kim. From that single encounter, Jae Kim became pregnant. To be a gentleman, P'Aed took responsibility and married Jae Kim, even though he didn't love her. Jae Hong severed all ties with Jae Kim, vowing never to speak to her again. Furious on his daughter's behalf, Jae Hong's father drew a line dividing the market with Jae Kim's father. Ever since then, the 100-year-old market was split into two zones: Jae Hong controlled the North market, while Jae Kim controlled the South market.

Less than a month after her heartbreak, Jae Hong married Kriangkrai, a district official, purely out of spite toward P'Aed. She eventually had four children with Kriangkrai, just as Jae Kim had four children with P'Aed. Unfortunately, after giving birth to her youngest child, Kriangkrai passed away from cancer. The bitter feud between Jae Hong and Jae Kim persisted over the years. Even as their children grew into young adults, neither woman was willing to back down. If Jae Hong wasn't starting trouble, Jae Kim was, leading to frequent clashes, both verbal and physical. The hatred between the two matriarchs spread to the vendors on both sides of the market. On any given day, the vendors would end up brawling with the backing of the two "Jaes" (sisters/matriarchs), bringing endless chaos to the 100-year-old market.

Even though the love triangle between Jae Hong, Jae Kim, and P'Aed had gone on for nearly 40 years, P'Aed never forgot his love for Jae Hong. He frequently looked for opportunities to sneak over and see her to clear up the past, but Jae Hong always acted aloof and refused to forgive him, even though deep down in her heart, she still cared for him. Often, when P'Aed sneaked over to see Jae Hong, Jae Kim would catch them and hurl public insults at Jae Hong to humiliate her. These incidents usually ended in physical fights and a trip to the police station to pay fines.

The families of Jae Hong and Jae Kim were anything but peaceful. Kiatkong, Kaewjai, and Kengkat—Jae Hong's children who helped manage her side of the market—frequently got into fistfights with Meow, Moo, and Mee, Jae Kim's children. Only Ku-kiat, Jae Hong's second son who had just returned from studying abroad, and Maew, Jae Kim's third daughter, disagreed with the division and partisanship of their mothers. The two fell in love amidst the feud between their families. Ku-kiat and Maew hatched a plan to reconcile their mothers by having P'Aed lie and say he had terminal cancer and was about to die. The two matriarchs agreed to a truce, but they still found reasons to bicker because their hearts hadn't truly healed.

Meanwhile, the children who used to fight also started developing feelings for each other. Kong and Meow opened their hearts and fell in love; Moo fell deeply in love with Kaewjai, and Kaew loved him just as much in return. However, because their mothers were still feuding, the children had to keep their romances a secret. The ongoing rift between the two women created an opening for Sia Phiphop and Pimphapat, a ruthless father-daughter duo who wanted to buy the 100-year-old market to build a shopping mall. When the two Jaes refused to sell, Sia Phiphop and his daughter plotted to scam them out of their money. When the children caught wind of the scheme, they convinced their mothers to join forces to take down Phiphop and Pimphapat. Even then, it didn't bring about true reconciliation. Later, Jae Hong discovered that P'Aed had another mistress named Tim and a child named Au. Fueled by vengeance, Jae Hong exposed the secret to Jae Kim. When P'Aed found out his secret was revealed, he died of a heart attack out of sheer terror of Jae Kim.

After P'Aed's death, Jae Kim finally realized that no relationship is as deep and lasting as friendship, and that it was merely one man who had destroyed the bond between her and Jae Hong. Jae Kim decided to apologize to Jae Hong. The two finally reconciled, joining hands to rebuild the market and merge it back into a single market just like in the old days. Because of the mothers' newfound unity, the children's love stories also found happy endings. The forbidden loves of Kong-kiat and Meow, Ku-kiat and Maew, and Moo and Kaew were finally accepted by both Jae Hong and Jae Kim. Peace was once again restored to the newly named "Samakkhi Tham" (United) Market.
