Mae Pia Due

Pia (Marie), a stubborn and spirited young woman, is the granddaughter of Ta Bua (Sorapong). After finishing her studies, she returns home and starts working by opening a riverside resort along the Pasak River, hoping to support the grandfather who raised and educated her. Helping Pia is Liam (Thana), who has loved her since childhood—without realizing that Pia is only using him.
Sub-Lieutenant Thaloengrat (Warit), a calm and reserved young police officer, arrives as the new official in charge of protecting the forest. Both Pia and Ta Bua dislike him, but Thaloengrat is immediately drawn to Pia at first sight and constantly teases her.
Pia’s resort becomes very successful, and Liam eventually realizes that Pia has been deceiving him all along. Wanting revenge, he decides to build a competing resort. But since he has no money, Liam robs a bus to get startup funds, disguising himself as a flat-nosed bandit. He steals money only from Phu Yai Suea (Ekaphan). Thaloengrat, who is also on the bus during the robbery, is surprised that the bandit targets only Phu Yai Suea.
Thaloengrat knows that Khun Maew (Celina) is the granddaughter of Lady Rangsima, the former employer of Sajeevilai, Thaloengrat’s mother. Lady Rangsima had wanted to find her true heir, who disappeared along with Khun Chai Rujiroj, a forest police officer, so that the heir could receive the inheritance she left behind before her death. Acting on Sajeevilai’s orders, Thaloengrat helps Khun Maew search for the missing heir.
Thaloengrat returns to the forest village to help Pia look for a pendant coin she has lost. Through this, he discovers that Pia is in fact the true heir. By investigating an old necklace and documents, he confirms that Pia is truly the daughter of Angkab and Khun Chai Rujiroj.
Thaloengrat takes Khun Maew to see Ta Bua to discuss Pia’s identity, but Ta Bua throws them out. Meanwhile, Liam, having run away from home in heartbreak, hides out in the forest and comes across Phu Yai Suea and Torphong, who are working together in illegal forest encroachment. Torphong wants to silence Liam, but Phu Yai Suea spares him, and Liam is imprisoned instead.
When Pia hears the news, she goes to rescue Liam with Thaloengrat’s help. Torphong then silences Phu Yai Suea and Ta Bua instead, forcing Pia to go to Bangkok for her safety, following Ta Bua’s orders.
When Pimprapha learns that Pia is staying at the palace, she wants the will to be opened as soon as possible, so she joins forces with Torphong. Thaloengrat is ambushed and seriously wounded, and he is brought to Bangkok for treatment. It is then that Pia realizes she has fallen in love with him. She tenderly watches over him until he recovers.
Torphong then plots to lure Khun Maew to a birthday party in order to threaten her into opening the will. Liam, who comes to see Pia at the palace, notices that something is wrong. He follows them and manages to save Khun Maew just in time. Khun Maew then reveals the truth that Pia is the real heir.
Pimprapha is furious and refuses to accept Pia. Torphong, afraid of losing the inheritance from Pimprapha, decides to harm Pia in order to secure the wealth for himself. But Liam arrives in time to save her and is injured in the process.
