Taddao Bussaya

Taddao is the daughter of Mr. Den Bussaya, a wealthy man who owns a riverside mansion in Nonthaburi. Her mother, Jitree, is heavily addicted to gambling. Khunying Bus, Mr. Den’s mother, despises Jitree and forces her out of the house—unaware that she is pregnant with Taddao at the time.
Later, Mr. Den, who still deeply loves Jitree, searches for her and eventually finds Taddao, who has grown into a young woman. He tells her that he intends to leave all his inheritance to her. However, he passes away before he can formally acknowledge or arrange this.
As a result, Khunying Duean, another wife who lived with Mr. Den, takes full control of his wealth. She has two children with him: a daughter, Tom, and a son, Taem.
Jitree gives birth to Taddao in Chiang Mai and raises her until she is 18. However, Jitree’s gambling addiction continues, leaving her deeply in debt. Her biggest creditor is Chao Phatthana, a newly rich businessman in Chiang Mai who is also very womanizing. One day, he sees Taddao and becomes attracted to her. He asks Jitree for permission to marry Taddao in exchange for clearing all her debts.
With no other choice, Jitree agrees. When Taddao learns of this, she is heartbroken and decides to run away to escape the forced marriage.
