Kalong, a poor countryside girl with no family or support, is helped by Aunt Wan, who brings her to work at the Kasemsuk household. The owners are Sujira and her husband, Kawee. Kalong’s arrival worsens the already fragile relationship between the couple. When Kawee sees Kalong, he is immediately charmed by her. He is not the only one—Narong, a wealthy patron from Chiang Mai and Kawee’s friend, also falls in love with her at first sight.

Sujira becomes jealous and frequently argues with Kawee after noticing how close he is to Kalong. She begins to bully Kalong in many ways. Meanwhile, Kawee and Kalong secretly start a relationship, but Noi, a sycophantic maid, discovers them and informs Sujira. Enraged, Sujira attacks Kalong. Kawee takes her to the hospital, where they learn she is pregnant. Sujira becomes even more furious but cannot act openly out of fear of losing Kawee. Still, she secretly plans to eliminate Kalong.

Aunt Wan warns Kalong that Sujira once killed her own child out of spite toward her husband, so harming Kalong would not be difficult for her. Sujira later tries to cause Kalong to miscarry, but Kawee returns just in time to stop her. After this, Kawee decides to build another house with the help of a contractor, Sia Jiw, so he can live with Kalong and their child.

However, Sia Jiw also becomes attracted to Kalong. Sujira, consumed by hatred, plots an “accident” against Kalong using Jiw’s workers. Jiw overhears the plan and secretly alters it, making Kalong see him as a good man. Kawee eventually realizes Sujira was behind the incident, leading to more violent arguments between them.

As Kalong nears childbirth, Sujira attempts to push her down the stairs, but Kawee and Narong witness it. During a heated argument, Kawee suffers a heart attack, and Sujira deliberately refuses to help him, letting him die. Narong takes Kalong to the hospital, where she gives birth to a son, Rattasat, who will never see his father.

Afterward, Kalong returns home and learns of Kawee’s death. Narong asks her to live with him, but she refuses, as she loves only Kawee. Sujira plans to kill Kalong’s baby but unexpectedly grows attached to him and decides to take him as her own. She frames Kalong by hiring a man to sleep with her, then uses this as an excuse to expel her from the house.

Jiw rescues Kalong and takes her to his home, but reveals his true nature—controlling and abusive—using her child as leverage. Later, Narong helps Jiw repay his gambling debts in exchange for Kalong. Kalong moves to Chiang Mai with Narong, but suffers again under the cruelty of Narong’s mother, Duangjai, and his other wives.

Kalong becomes pregnant again, but Duangjai plots to poison her. Instead, Narong accidentally drinks the poison and dies. Kalong is cast out once more and later receives news that her son Rattasat has died in America. Devastated, she attempts suicide but is saved by Tuenjai, who gives her work at a restaurant. Kalong later gives birth to a daughter, Wasithi.

Meanwhile, Sujira changes her name to Matika and renames Rattasat as Patrick. Years pass. Wasithi grows up and meets Patrick in America, and they fall in love, unaware they are siblings. Eventually, the truth is revealed, leading to heartbreak.

Kalong, now seriously ill with leukemia, tries to protect her daughter while reconciling with Patrick. Sujira, mentally unstable, returns and attempts to harm Kalong again. Patrick is injured while protecting her, and Sujira is finally arrested.

In the end, Kalong dies peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Though her life was filled with suffering, she finds peace in her final moments, embraced by those she loves.

“Snow Beneath the Moon” tells the story of Han Taejun, the heir of Han Jinseob, owner of the massive Taeyang empire, a global maritime shipping business.

After Taejun’s mother passes away, Jinseob brings his new wife Chaewoo into the household, along with her daughter Mamarin. Mamarin secretly falls in love with Taejun, causing him great discomfort. Unable to handle the situation, Taejun decides to leave Seoul and hides in Thailand, working at Taeyang’s shipyard branch. He is helped by his close Korean friend Choi Yongki, who keeps his whereabouts a secret from his family.

Taejun lives quietly in Thailand for four years until one day he meets Intupha (Noo-In), the youngest granddaughter of Grandpa On, the owner of the Chao Phraya Riverside Hotel. They fall in love at first sight. Grandpa On also grows fond of Taejun, though Anecha, Noo-In’s older brother, initially misunderstands and believes Taejun is pursuing Waralee (Noo-Jan)—Noo-In’s childhood best friend, whom Anecha secretly loves. Eventually, Anecha learns the truth and Taejun promises never to hurt Noo-In.

Anecha and Noo-Jan share a complicated past. They loved each other since childhood, but when Anecha planned to study abroad, he wanted to get engaged. Grandpa On stopped him, thinking they were too young, leading Noo-Jan to misunderstand that Anecha rejected her. Since then, she has avoided him, quietly working at the hotel’s kitchen.

When the hotel wins a food festival competition, Noo-Jan is forced to reveal herself again. Anecha, stubborn and controlling, tries to win her back, often in harsh ways, making them appear like constant rivals.

Meanwhile, Mamarin discovers clues about Taejun and travels to Thailand. Taejun asks Yongki to deal with her in his place, unaware that Yongki came to Thailand partly to avoid Mamarin—whom he secretly loves. Yongki takes care of her while hiding his feelings.

Eventually, Mamarin meets Taejun by chance. Her presence causes Noo-In to misunderstand that she is Taejun’s lover. Although Taejun tries to explain she is like a sister, it is too late—Noo-In and Noo-Jan leave for Korea early to join an international food competition.

Taejun follows them to Korea, bringing Mamarin and Yongki along. When Jinseob learns that Yongki has been hiding Taejun’s secret, he becomes furious and pressures Yongki to reveal information about Noo-In in exchange for keeping his job. Yongki refuses and is expelled from the Taeyang empire.

Despite losing everything, Yongki gains something else—Mamarin begins to develop feelings for him. Though she still loves Taejun, she finds herself thinking of Yongki first whenever she faces problems.

Taejun proposes to Noo-In, and she accepts. At the same time, Anecha takes Noo-Jan skiing, but they get into an accident and are trapped in a valley. While waiting for rescue, they finally confess their true feelings and resolve their long-standing misunderstanding.

Jinseob then gives Taejun an ultimatum: he will disown him and cut him off from his inheritance if he marries Noo-In. Innocent and inexperienced, Noo-In falls into Jinseob’s scheme and, out of love, decides to leave Taejun and return to Thailand alone.

When Taejun finds out, he confronts his father, declaring that he does not care about the Taeyang empire and chooses love instead. During this conflict, the truth about Mamarin’s birth is revealed—she is actually Taejun’s half-sister. Taejun had left home partly to force his father to acknowledge her publicly.

After the confrontation, Taejun leaves the Taeyang empire once again. Yongki finally confesses his love to Mamarin and asks her to go with him. Meanwhile, Jinseob’s wife leaves him, abandoning him to his vast but lonely empire.

In the end, the story of the “man of snow” and the “girl of the moon” unfolds—whether it ends in smiles or tears remains to be seen in “Snow Beneath the Moon.”

Beneath the grand mansion of Borirak, a billionaire patriarch, lives a deeply dysfunctional family with four children.

The eldest son, Chaichan, is selfish and uncaring toward his siblings, blindly obeying his greedy wife, Chalalak. The second child, Sudsuang, is a still-beautiful widow who craves love and becomes involved with Samran, a fraudulent businessman who deceives her for money. Even her spoiled daughter, Nokyoong, falls victim to Samran, becoming entangled with him as well.

The third child, Chaimad, is gentle and refined but secretly prefers same-sex relationships. He falls for Sak, a fugitive who only pretends to love him in order to steal money. The youngest daughter, Duangjai, is naïve and soft-hearted. She secretly loves the family doctor, Prawit, but he instead has feelings for Sabai—a beautiful yet mentally unstable girl whom Borirak took in out of pity.

Borirak treats Sabai like his own daughter, which sparks jealousy among his children. Chaos erupts during Borirak’s birthday party when Sudsuang and Nokyoong lock Sabai in a storage room, causing her to be trapped in a fire. Fortunately, Kawin and lawyer Sompoch arrive in time to rescue her.

Later, out of jealousy, Duangjai pushes Sabai into the sea, but Kawin once again saves her. Before Borirak dies, he gives Sabai a locket as a keepsake. His death devastates Sabai so much that she faints. When she regains consciousness, her mental illness is mysteriously cured—but she continues to pretend to be insane. Only Dr. Prawit knows the truth. Sabai keeps up the act because she fears Borirak’s children will harm her, especially after learning that his will states all his assets will go to whoever takes care of her.

As a result, each family member competes to care for Sabai, hoping to inherit the fortune. However, instead of kindness, they constantly plot to get rid of her. Sabai cleverly retaliates each time, making them increasingly wary of her.

Eventually, lawyer Sompoch assigns Kawin to take full responsibility for Sabai—teaching her, guiding her, and helping her adjust to life. As they grow closer, Kawin begins to suspect that Sabai is far more intelligent than she pretends. Meanwhile, Nokyoong, who secretly likes Kawin, grows jealous and causes trouble for Sabai.

When no one can truly manage Sabai, Sompoch refuses to reveal the will. Chaimad and Sak, manipulated by Chaichan and Chalalak, murder the lawyer to obtain it. But when they finally open the will, they discover that Borirak has donated all his wealth to charity.

Desperate, the family searches for the key to the mansion’s safe, believing there is still hidden treasure. Nokyoong overhears Kawin and Sabai discussing it and tells Sudsuang that Sabai knows where the key is. Sudsuang and Chaimad then kidnap and torture Sabai to force her to reveal its location.

In pain and delirium, Sabai unintentionally reveals the hiding place. Chaichan and Chalalak, who have been secretly listening, rush back to the mansion to find the key.

Now, the question remains: who will ultimately claim the vast fortune in the safe? Will Sabai survive her ordeal? And what will Kawin do when he realizes he has fallen in love with a woman everyone believes to be insane?
