Synopsis

Khun Den Bussaya (Anusorn Dechapanya), a wealthy millionaire in Nonthaburi, is married to Jittree (Savitree Samipak), a former beauty queen whose love for vanity and comfort has left her lacking the qualities of a good wife and daughter-in-law. Den's mother, Khun Ying But (Jaruwan Panyopas), completely despises Jittree. She plots to get rid of her and match her son with a new wife, Khun Duean (Papasara Techapaiboon). Duean deceives Khun Ying into believing that the child she is currently carrying—fathered by her ex-husband, Cherd (Sukol Pongtat)—is actually Den's child. Falling for the lie, Khun Ying declares Duean's unborn child as the true heir with full rights to the family's inheritance.
Pregnant and without informing Den, Jittree runs away from the Bussaya estate. She moves to Chiang Mai, where she gives birth to a daughter named Thaddao (Worakarn Rojjanawat). Jittree constantly brainwashes Thaddao to hate her father and everyone in the Bussaya family. Unbeknownst to Jittree, Den discovers their whereabouts and secretly visits Thaddao often. As a result, Thaddao forms a deep bond and loves Den even more than her own mother. Once Jittree finds out, she strictly forbids the father and daughter from ever seeing each other again.
Feeling sympathetic, Thaddao's nanny, Thiang (Daraneenute Pothipiti), secretly brings Thaddao out to meet Den. During his last visit with his trusted man, Ta Puang (Suchao Pongwilai), Den tells Thaddao to study hard and take good care of Jittree in his stead. He also reveals that he has drafted a will leaving his entire estate, including the Bussaya mansion, solely to Thaddao. After that day, Den never comes to see Thaddao again.
Burdened by gambling debts, Jittree forces Thaddao to compete in the Miss Chiang Mai beauty pageant. Thaddao wins and secures the prize money. During this time, she crosses paths with Jao Yodkhwan, or Jao Noi (Tridsadee Sahawong), who steps in to protect her from local thugs but ends up getting injured himself. Meanwhile, Jao Pattana (Dilok Thongwattana) falls in love with Thaddao. When Jittree approaches him for help with her massive gambling debts, he agrees on one condition: he must marry Thaddao. This enrages Jao Noi, leading to a heated argument between the men. Thaddao also fiercely refuses the arrangement. Consequently, Jao Noi and Thaddao clash and inevitably become enemies.
Upon learning the news of her father's death, Thaddao runs away from home to reclaim her rightful inheritance of the Bussaya estate. Her nanny, Thiang, follows her and helps her disguise herself as a boy named "Suthat." Coincidentally, Jao Yodkhwan also leaves home with his loyal servant, Bang (Wichai Jongprasitporn), after bidding farewell to his fiancée, Jao Saengkham (Kanungnij Jaksamithanon). Thiang pleads with Bang to let her and Suthat tag along, keeping Jao Noi completely in the dark about Suthat's true identity as Thaddao. Back in Chiang Mai, with Thaddao gone, Jao Pattana ends up marrying Jittree instead. Realizing her past mistakes, Jittree turns over a new leaf to become a proper and devoted wife to him.
During their journey, Jao Noi and Suthat grow closer. Suthat begs Jao Noi to take him to the Bussaya mansion. Though suspicious, Jao Noi listens as Suthat explains he needs to reclaim his rights, revealing only that he is Den's child. Jao Noi has a close friend named Witoon (Thanakrit Panichwid), and whenever Jao Noi returns to Bangkok, he stays at the Bussaya mansion with him. Instead of taking Suthat straight to the mansion, Jao Noi brings everyone to develop a farm in Pak Chong. There, Suthat learns about the shared dreams of Jao Noi and Jao Saengkham, prompting her to distance herself from Jao Noi.
Eventually, Jao Noi brings Suthat into the Bussaya mansion as his personal servant. Khun Duean immediately dislikes Suthat at first sight. She hopes to match her younger sister, Temduang (Sinitta Boonyasak), with Jao Noi, but Temduang shows no interest. Suthat realizes Temduang is a kind person she can genuinely trust. Meanwhile, Khun Ying But, Suthat's grandmother—who became bedridden after Den's death—feels a strange sense of familiarity and affection for Suthat, who secretly sneaks in to visit her often.
Temduang and Taem (Methus Treerattanawareesin), Duean's son, take good care of Khun Ying, contrasting sharply with Tom (Chotika Wongwilas), Duean's daughter, who never bothers to help. Later, problems arise at the farm, forcing Jao Noi to return to Pak Chong. Tom insists on tagging along. While Jao Noi is away, Suthat becomes close friends with Witoon, which sparks unexpected jealousy in Jao Noi upon his return.
Amidst the tangled romantic feelings, Jao Noi becomes highly confused about his own emotions (towards a "boy") and abruptly announces his engagement to Jao Saengkham. Meanwhile, the hidden secrets of the Bussaya family slowly come to light. Suthat finally locates Ta Puang, the key witness to the secret will. However, she is captured and locked up alongside her grieving grandmother. Once Khun Duean discovers the whole truth, she attempts to eliminate Suthat and Khun Ying But. Fortunately, Witoon and Temduang arrive just in time to rescue them, finally exposing Duean's lies to everyone.
Devastated to learn she has no real blood tie to the Bussaya family, Tom acts out recklessly, but Thaddao (Suthat) saves her. Thaddao also supports Taem's continued education. Witoon eventually finds love with Jao Saengkham. As for Thaddao, once Jao Noi finally discovers her true identity as a woman, how will they navigate their complicated love?
