Synopsis
A deep-rooted grudge beyond forgiveness drives Thong—the right-hand man of the headman of Na Khae village—to seek revenge after being betrayed by the very man he once respected and having his lover taken from him before his eyes.
The story begins when Pho Khun, the headman of Na Khae, orders Thong to collect a debt for farmland from Old Phet, the father of Waew—Thong’s beloved. Unable to pay, Old Phet is forced to sell Waew to Pho Khun to settle the debt.
Waew is brought into Pho Khun’s household as a servant to Duang, his daughter. Her beauty captivates Ming, Pho Khun’s son, who constantly flirts with her. This leads to a confrontation between Ming and Thong. As punishment, Pho Khun imprisons Waew for seven days and forbids Thong from seeing her.
Not long after, Pho Khun orders Thong to steal cattle. Thong agrees, but only on the condition that Waew will be set free if he succeeds. Pho Khun accepts the deal.
However, once Thong leaves, Ming prepares to marry Waew. Thong, finishing his task earlier than expected, returns and realizes he has been completely deceived by father and son. He fights his way in, rescues Waew, and takes her to Wiang Khoi to recover.
Pho Khun issues a warrant for Thong and his men. Upon discovering his whereabouts, he leads a group to capture him. In a final act of manipulation, Pho Khun and Ming seize Old Phet and use him as leverage. With no other choice, Thong is forced to let Waew go, allowing her to become Ming’s wife.
