Rak Sut Plai Fah (Love at the Edge of the Sky):

Mae-son, an ambitious young woman from the Ceon hill tribe who yearns for city life, has been living in Bangkok since high school along with her fellow tribeswoman, Mae-dae. To hide their Ceon identity—fearing it might cause them to be ostracized from urban society—Mae-son changes her name to Marnfah, and Mae-dae changes hers to Marisa. Both women fully dive into their urban careers. Marnfah works as an agile and trendy freelance creative for The Spectrum Agency. Meanwhile, Marisa, who dreams of having her own music album, works as a regular singer at a pub owned by Phet Rung, a former folk drama actor. With her charming voice, Marisa draws a packed crowd every night.

When the election season for the chief of Mon Fah Ngam arrives, the heads of the five villages—Plai Fah, Lom Fah, Ton Fah, Ing Fah, and Kiang Fah—must compete. The elected chief represents the local people in dealings with government officials and businessmen, and leads traditional activities. The winner is decided by accumulating points through a grand, fun-filled sports competition.

Meng Sueng, the head of Kiang Fah village, is deeply dissatisfied with the current chief, Kang Se from Ing Fah village. Kang Se is a cunning man who uses all sorts of dirty tricks to monopolize the chief position year after year, without ever benefiting any village other than his own. Determined to replace him, Meng Sueng consults the village's guardian spirit (Pee Fah) to see if Kiang Fah can win this year. The spirit prophesies that they will only win if a person with an 8-pointed star scar on their shoulder comes to help them.

Unsure of how to find this person, Meng Sueng goes down the mountain to consult the district chief and spots a picture in the sports section of a newspaper. It shows Thutthep, wearing a sleeveless sports shirt, with the exact scar the spirit described! The district chief reveals that Thutthep is a former national track athlete living in Bangkok. Meng Sueng decides they must get Thutthep to train their village's athletes, and the best person to track him down is his own daughter, Mae-son (Marnfah).

While the two girls are enjoying their city lives, they receive an urgent letter from Meng Sueng demanding they return to help the village win the election. Unwilling to go back, they ignore it. Impatient, Meng Sueng walks across another mountain just to call his daughter. When Marnfah tries to make excuses, Meng Sueng threatens her: "If you don't come up here, I will go down to Bangkok and expose you in front of your company as a hill tribe girl!" Terrified of her secret being outed, Marnfah reluctantly takes a leave of absence to complete the mission, enlisting Marisa's help to find Thutthep Chachatan.

Marnfah suddenly remembers Thutthep as a sports shoe model she recently argued with because of his apathetic, lifeless attitude during a photoshoot. She strongly doubts that someone so unenthusiastic can coach anyone. However, Meng Sueng insists she follow the spirit's prophecy, forcing her to accept the task.

Meanwhile, Thutthep is deeply depressed. After a severe accident ended his racing career, he feels like a failure, wanting to hide from everyone and escape his current life. However, his mother, Khunying Pa-oon, constantly tries to push him back into the spotlight by getting him commercial shoots and trying to force him to become an international coach for the ASEAN Athletics Association—something he has absolutely no interest in.

How will the chaotic love story between a depressed high-society young man and a city-dwelling hill-tribe girl unfold? Tune in to find out the conclusion of this romance in Rak Sut Plai Fah.

Netchanok (Peeranee Kongthai) is the only daughter of Thepthai (Thanakorn Posayanon), who loves her more than his own life and has never once gone against her wishes. Her grandmother, Nuan-nuan (Jintara Sukapat), also loves and pities her for losing her mother at a young age, compensating by showering her with love and indulging her completely. Even though her grandfather, Thatthai (Surachai Sombatcharoen), occasionally warned against spoiling her too much, Netchanok grew up like an angel. She was always the number one priority in the house and the center of everyone's love, something she absolutely refused to let anyone take away from her.

When a new member dares to step into her kingdom as her stepmother, threatening to steal the love and attention—especially from the father she loves the most—a war for love breaks out. However, it is a one-sided war, because Sasimon (Waranluk Sirimaneewattana), her new stepmother, never retaliates. Out of her deep love for Thepthai, Sasimon patiently endures everything.

Netchanok’s harsh treatment of Sasimon deeply angers Chonchanok (Warintorn Panhakarn), Sasimon’s older brother. He loves his sister dearly and refuses to let anyone hurt her. Netchanok’s attempts to stop the marriage almost succeed, but when Sasimon becomes pregnant, Thepthai officially proposes. Netchanok crashes the wedding, nearly ruining it, and drives away. Chonchanok chases after her. When she stops at a red light, Chonchanok drags her out of the car and kisses her right in the middle of the intersection. Furious, Netchanok rams her car into his, though luckily neither of them is seriously injured.

Once Sasimon moves into Thepthai’s house, Netchanok constantly bullies her—forcing her to eat tofu (which she hates), abandoning her on the side of the expressway, and tricking her into knitting a sweater day and night until Sasimon falls ill, only for Netchanok to burn the sweater. Boiling with anger, Chonchanok drags Netchanok to a love motel, takes off her shirt, and burns it in retaliation. He then drops her off in the alley near her house, forcing her to walk home in a burnt, holey shirt as revenge. Because of this, Netchanok harbors a deep hatred and grudge against Chonchanok.

Worried about their daughter, Chatchai (Paiboonkiat Kiewkaew) and Khun Ying Prempree (Suangsuda Lawanprasert), Sasimon’s parents, invite Sasimon to recover at their house. Thepthai stays over as well. Netchanok follows them and purposefully steals Sasimon’s bedroom. Furious, Thepthai drags Netchanok back home in the middle of the night, leading to a massive argument. Hurt, Netchanok rebels against her father by going out partying every single day.

One night, Netchanok comes home unusually late, and Sasimon is waiting for her in front of the house. Netchanok accidentally shifts into the wrong gear, and the car reverses straight toward Sasimon. Thepthai rushes out, pulls Sasimon out of the way, and angrily scolds Netchanok. In his rage, he blurts out that he doesn't have a cruel and ruthless daughter like her. Heartbroken, Netchanok runs away to live with her friend Oun (Juthamas Plangsuchon), refusing to take a single belonging with her. No matter who begs her, including her father, she refuses to return.

Determined, Netchanok goes out to look for a job. Even though she has to endure the hardships of taking the public bus, she doesn't give up. Chonchanok is amazed by her resilience. His hatred begins to fade, replaced by sympathy, as he realizes she isn't actually a wicked person; everything she did was simply out of love and possessiveness over her father.

Meanwhile, Thipthida (Janesuda Panto), a famous high-society businesswoman, is romantically involved with Chonchanok. When Chonchanok starts getting entangled with Netchanok, Thipthida becomes deeply dissatisfied and hates Netchanok even more. Ken (Thana Aiamniyom), Netchanok’s playboy friend, secretly likes Thipthida, which breaks Oun's heart since she secretly loves Ken. However, Ken never even notices Oun.

Chonchanok plans to take his family on a vacation to his Saengtien Resort on an island. Thepthai wants Netchanok to come along so they can reconcile, so he has Ken and Oun trick her into going by claiming they won free tickets. When Netchanok finds out the truth, she is furious. Chonchanok tries to force Netchanok to share a room with Sasimon, but she refuses and runs off, ending up getting stung by wasps. Chonchanok has to step in and take care of her constantly.

Displeased, Thipthida confronts and scolds Netchanok, causing Netchanok to run away from the resort and eventually faint in front of a rival resort. Thaensit (Chanon Thipkanok), a handsome and meticulous playboy who owns the rival resort, finds her unconscious and takes her in until she recovers. Thaensit's gentlemanly demeanor wins Netchanok’s trust, and she accepts him as a friend.

When Netchanok returns to Chonchanok's resort, she finds a wasp nest someone intentionally threw at her. Suddenly, the lights go out. Walking in the dark, she gets scared, and when someone grabs her arm, she panics and hits him on the head with a piece of wood. When the lights come back on, she realizes she just hit Chonchanok. Shocked, she calls for help to take him to the hospital. Chonchanok knows Netchanok hit him but doesn't report it to the police. Instead, he makes a deal: she must cook him one meal. Netchanok’s cooking turns out practically inedible. Oun asks Sasimon to help teach her, but Netchanok refuses direct help, only agreeing to watch a video recording of Sasimon cooking. Netchanok cooks for Chonchanok again, and this time, she passes.

Her debt paid, Netchanok asks to cut ties with Chonchanok and begs him to keep the hitting incident a secret. However, Chonchanok tells Sasimon, who accidentally lets it slip to Thepthai. Thepthai is furious and harshly scolds Netchanok. Netchanok is enraged that Chonchanok broke his promise. On top of that, Oun accidentally tells Ken her secrets. Feeling like she can't trust anyone around her, Netchanok agrees to go work for Thaensit. Worried about her, Chonchanok finds an excuse to work at the resort to keep an eye on her. Thipthida follows him, declaring herself as Chonchanok's girlfriend. This breaks Ken's heart, leaving Oun to comfort him as usual.

Working in marketing, Netchanok discovers a beautiful but struggling homestay community. She helps revitalize the business. Working closely together allows Chonchanok and Netchanok to open their hearts to one another, and Chonchanok eventually gives her a ring and proposes. Netchanok accepts. However, Thipthida suddenly experiences morning sickness and demands that Chonchanok marry her. Chonchanok agrees on one condition: after the baby is born, a DNA test must be done. If the baby isn't his, he will divorce her immediately.

Sasimon gives birth, and everyone in the house is so focused on the new baby that they completely forget about Netchanok. Feeling like she has lost everything—both her lover and her family—she becomes deeply vengeful toward Chonchanok, believing he only tricked her into loving him. Seeking revenge, Netchanok returns to work with Thaensit and promises to help him completely destroy Chonchanok. She even agrees to marry Thaensit. When Thipthida's baby is born, Chonchanok secretly does a DNA test and discovers the child is not his. He rushes to tell Netchanok that he is free, but Netchanok tells him she has already promised to marry Thaensit. Devastated that her child isn't Chonchanok's, Thipthida loses her mind and goes insane. Oun asks Ken to adopt the baby, promising she will act as the mother. Touched, Ken proposes to Oun.

The homestay community discovers that Thaensit is the mastermind behind the attempts to destroy their village. They ask Chonchanok to tell Netchanok to cancel the wedding. Netchanok doesn't believe him until she sees the evidence herself. She tries to call off the wedding, but Thaensit refuses and tries to force himself on her. Chonchanok arrives just in time to help. Cornered, Thaensit takes Sasimon and her baby hostage. The villagers and Thepthai bring the police, and Thaensit is finally arrested. Netchanok realizes how much she actually loves her new younger sibling and feels deeply ashamed of how she used to treat Sasimon. Finally, Netchanok understands and forgives her father, wholeheartedly accepting Sasimon and the baby.

How will the story of Chonchanok and Netchanok conclude? Will the two finally get to be together? Tune in to the drama "Kularb Rai Glai Ruk" (Evil Rose Becomes Love) every Friday at 8:30 PM, and Saturday - Sunday at 8:15 PM on Thai TV Color Channel 3. Premieres Friday, March 11, 2011.

“Kuan Kammathep (Cupid’s Gang)” tells the story of love, family expectations, and personal growth.

Ketsara, a young woman educated abroad, is forced by her mother Duangdao to marry Wathit, the son of Rongmuang, in order to fulfill a promise made to her late father. Duangdao also wants Ketsara to prove herself worthy of the prestigious Sapsathit family in the eyes of Pailin. However, after returning from France, Ketsara has become completely westernized, lacking the grace and manners expected of a traditional Thai lady.

Determined to prepare her daughter for marriage, Duangdao hires Penkae, a former school principal who now manages the Ruenthong estate, to train Ketsara. Penkae recruits three former teachers: Plernta, now a food vendor; Somporn, now a boxing gym owner; and Nuan Noi, now a dance instructor. With generous compensation, they agree to help transform Ketsara into a proper lady.

Meanwhile, Rongmuang invites Ketsara to dine at the Apiboona household, but she is met with disapproval from Pailin, Rampai, and Rapheepan, who dislike her modern, bold personality and do not want her to carry their family name. Despite this, hope rises when the three teachers arrive to guide her transformation.

Ketsara is frequently summoned to the Apiboona house, which frustrates her at first. However, her attitude softens when she befriends Grandfather Pot, who is paralyzed and lives in a small house. Their growing bond leads Wathit to see her in a more positive light.

As the teachers continue training her—despite interference from Duangduean and Duangkaew—Ketsara learns about their financial struggles and offers extra support, earning their loyalty. They become determined to help her become the perfect daughter-in-law.

During a grand birthday celebration hosted by Duangdao, Ketsara is assigned as the event organizer to prove her worth. With help from the teachers and Rungtiwa, the event is a success. Although her planned traditional dance costume goes missing, she improvises with a contemporary performance set to “Bua Khao,” Pailin’s favorite song, impressing both Pailin and Wathit.

Ketsara and Wathit eventually marry, with land from Ruenthong given as a wedding gift. After marriage, Ketsara struggles to adjust to the strict, highly disciplined Apiboona household, though Grandfather Pot provides emotional support. Meanwhile, Pailin faces financial trouble, risking the loss of her home, which Ketsara secretly helps resolve through Ruenthong.

Complications arise when Kingkaew continues to interfere with Wathit, though he gradually grows more sympathetic toward Ketsara. Just as their relationship begins to improve, Roger, Ketsara’s ex-boyfriend, returns to Thailand. Hurt by her marriage, he confronts her, leading to misunderstandings and conflict. Tensions escalate further when Wathit, influenced by jealousy and manipulation from Rampai and Rapheepan, clashes with Ketsara. In a moment of anger and loss of control, Wathit forces himself on her—only to realize she is not the bold, reckless woman he assumed, but someone sincere and pure.

Devastated, Ketsara leaves and returns to the Sapsathit home, telling Roger they can only remain friends. Roger accepts this and later pursues Kingkaew. Meanwhile, Grandfather Pot falls gravely ill and urges the family to accept Ketsara. He gives land to Wathit to help reclaim Pailin’s mortgaged home.

Wathit later learns that Kingkaew and Roger are in love and planning to move abroad. Roger also tells him that Ketsara truly loves him, helping Wathit realize his own feelings. He tries to win her back, but she is still hurt.

As time passes, reconciliation begins. After Grandfather Pot’s death, Ketsara returns to the Apiboona home. Wathit confesses that everything he did came from love and regret, promising never to let her go again. Ketsara forgives him and admits she loves him too.

In the end, both families unite as one, with the love between Wathit and Ketsara bridging all conflicts.

Will their love truly heal the wounds of the past?

Follow their journey in “Kuan Kammathep”, airing Monday–Friday at 7:15 PM on Channel 3.
