Synopsis
Netchanok (Peeranee Kongthai) is the only daughter of Thepthai (Thanakorn Posayanon), who loves her more than his own life and has never once gone against her wishes. Her grandmother, Nuan-nuan (Jintara Sukapat), also loves and pities her for losing her mother at a young age, compensating by showering her with love and indulging her completely. Even though her grandfather, Thatthai (Surachai Sombatcharoen), occasionally warned against spoiling her too much, Netchanok grew up like an angel. She was always the number one priority in the house and the center of everyone's love, something she absolutely refused to let anyone take away from her.
When a new member dares to step into her kingdom as her stepmother, threatening to steal the love and attention—especially from the father she loves the most—a war for love breaks out. However, it is a one-sided war, because Sasimon (Waranluk Sirimaneewattana), her new stepmother, never retaliates. Out of her deep love for Thepthai, Sasimon patiently endures everything.
Netchanok’s harsh treatment of Sasimon deeply angers Chonchanok (Warintorn Panhakarn), Sasimon’s older brother. He loves his sister dearly and refuses to let anyone hurt her. Netchanok’s attempts to stop the marriage almost succeed, but when Sasimon becomes pregnant, Thepthai officially proposes. Netchanok crashes the wedding, nearly ruining it, and drives away. Chonchanok chases after her. When she stops at a red light, Chonchanok drags her out of the car and kisses her right in the middle of the intersection. Furious, Netchanok rams her car into his, though luckily neither of them is seriously injured.
Once Sasimon moves into Thepthai’s house, Netchanok constantly bullies her—forcing her to eat tofu (which she hates), abandoning her on the side of the expressway, and tricking her into knitting a sweater day and night until Sasimon falls ill, only for Netchanok to burn the sweater. Boiling with anger, Chonchanok drags Netchanok to a love motel, takes off her shirt, and burns it in retaliation. He then drops her off in the alley near her house, forcing her to walk home in a burnt, holey shirt as revenge. Because of this, Netchanok harbors a deep hatred and grudge against Chonchanok.
Worried about their daughter, Chatchai (Paiboonkiat Kiewkaew) and Khun Ying Prempree (Suangsuda Lawanprasert), Sasimon’s parents, invite Sasimon to recover at their house. Thepthai stays over as well. Netchanok follows them and purposefully steals Sasimon’s bedroom. Furious, Thepthai drags Netchanok back home in the middle of the night, leading to a massive argument. Hurt, Netchanok rebels against her father by going out partying every single day.
One night, Netchanok comes home unusually late, and Sasimon is waiting for her in front of the house. Netchanok accidentally shifts into the wrong gear, and the car reverses straight toward Sasimon. Thepthai rushes out, pulls Sasimon out of the way, and angrily scolds Netchanok. In his rage, he blurts out that he doesn't have a cruel and ruthless daughter like her. Heartbroken, Netchanok runs away to live with her friend Oun (Juthamas Plangsuchon), refusing to take a single belonging with her. No matter who begs her, including her father, she refuses to return.
Determined, Netchanok goes out to look for a job. Even though she has to endure the hardships of taking the public bus, she doesn't give up. Chonchanok is amazed by her resilience. His hatred begins to fade, replaced by sympathy, as he realizes she isn't actually a wicked person; everything she did was simply out of love and possessiveness over her father.
Meanwhile, Thipthida (Janesuda Panto), a famous high-society businesswoman, is romantically involved with Chonchanok. When Chonchanok starts getting entangled with Netchanok, Thipthida becomes deeply dissatisfied and hates Netchanok even more. Ken (Thana Aiamniyom), Netchanok’s playboy friend, secretly likes Thipthida, which breaks Oun's heart since she secretly loves Ken. However, Ken never even notices Oun.
Chonchanok plans to take his family on a vacation to his Saengtien Resort on an island. Thepthai wants Netchanok to come along so they can reconcile, so he has Ken and Oun trick her into going by claiming they won free tickets. When Netchanok finds out the truth, she is furious. Chonchanok tries to force Netchanok to share a room with Sasimon, but she refuses and runs off, ending up getting stung by wasps. Chonchanok has to step in and take care of her constantly.
Displeased, Thipthida confronts and scolds Netchanok, causing Netchanok to run away from the resort and eventually faint in front of a rival resort. Thaensit (Chanon Thipkanok), a handsome and meticulous playboy who owns the rival resort, finds her unconscious and takes her in until she recovers. Thaensit's gentlemanly demeanor wins Netchanok’s trust, and she accepts him as a friend.
When Netchanok returns to Chonchanok's resort, she finds a wasp nest someone intentionally threw at her. Suddenly, the lights go out. Walking in the dark, she gets scared, and when someone grabs her arm, she panics and hits him on the head with a piece of wood. When the lights come back on, she realizes she just hit Chonchanok. Shocked, she calls for help to take him to the hospital. Chonchanok knows Netchanok hit him but doesn't report it to the police. Instead, he makes a deal: she must cook him one meal. Netchanok’s cooking turns out practically inedible. Oun asks Sasimon to help teach her, but Netchanok refuses direct help, only agreeing to watch a video recording of Sasimon cooking. Netchanok cooks for Chonchanok again, and this time, she passes.
Her debt paid, Netchanok asks to cut ties with Chonchanok and begs him to keep the hitting incident a secret. However, Chonchanok tells Sasimon, who accidentally lets it slip to Thepthai. Thepthai is furious and harshly scolds Netchanok. Netchanok is enraged that Chonchanok broke his promise. On top of that, Oun accidentally tells Ken her secrets. Feeling like she can't trust anyone around her, Netchanok agrees to go work for Thaensit. Worried about her, Chonchanok finds an excuse to work at the resort to keep an eye on her. Thipthida follows him, declaring herself as Chonchanok's girlfriend. This breaks Ken's heart, leaving Oun to comfort him as usual.
Working in marketing, Netchanok discovers a beautiful but struggling homestay community. She helps revitalize the business. Working closely together allows Chonchanok and Netchanok to open their hearts to one another, and Chonchanok eventually gives her a ring and proposes. Netchanok accepts. However, Thipthida suddenly experiences morning sickness and demands that Chonchanok marry her. Chonchanok agrees on one condition: after the baby is born, a DNA test must be done. If the baby isn't his, he will divorce her immediately.
Sasimon gives birth, and everyone in the house is so focused on the new baby that they completely forget about Netchanok. Feeling like she has lost everything—both her lover and her family—she becomes deeply vengeful toward Chonchanok, believing he only tricked her into loving him. Seeking revenge, Netchanok returns to work with Thaensit and promises to help him completely destroy Chonchanok. She even agrees to marry Thaensit. When Thipthida's baby is born, Chonchanok secretly does a DNA test and discovers the child is not his. He rushes to tell Netchanok that he is free, but Netchanok tells him she has already promised to marry Thaensit. Devastated that her child isn't Chonchanok's, Thipthida loses her mind and goes insane. Oun asks Ken to adopt the baby, promising she will act as the mother. Touched, Ken proposes to Oun.
The homestay community discovers that Thaensit is the mastermind behind the attempts to destroy their village. They ask Chonchanok to tell Netchanok to cancel the wedding. Netchanok doesn't believe him until she sees the evidence herself. She tries to call off the wedding, but Thaensit refuses and tries to force himself on her. Chonchanok arrives just in time to help. Cornered, Thaensit takes Sasimon and her baby hostage. The villagers and Thepthai bring the police, and Thaensit is finally arrested. Netchanok realizes how much she actually loves her new younger sibling and feels deeply ashamed of how she used to treat Sasimon. Finally, Netchanok understands and forgives her father, wholeheartedly accepting Sasimon and the baby.
