Synopsis
Orawee is betrayed by her seemingly perfect husband, Tharn, who carries on an affair with Wichuda, Orawee’s half-sister. Wichuda has returned specifically to seek revenge, aided by Suwipha, Orawee’s business mentor, who feeds Orawee information and leads her to catch the pair red-handed. Tharn asks for a divorce because Wichuda is pregnant, but Orawee refuses to let Wichuda gain anything. Tharn eventually leaves with nothing but his clothes, hoping to take their adopted children, Ekong (Ek) and Atcharee (Fah), with him. Orawee refuses to let go of both, so Tharn is only able to take Ekong.
Eighteen years pass. Atcharee, who remained with Orawee, has become repressed and withdrawn. Orawee physically abuses her whenever the bitterness of the past resurfaces. Despite this, Atcharee continues to forgive Orawee, guided by the teachings of Jamnian, Orawee’s longtime nanny. Unbeknownst to Orawee, Ekong and Tharn have maintained secret contact with Atcharee over the years.
When Orawee discovers that Ekong harbors feelings for Atcharee that go beyond siblings, she takes drastic action. She forces Atcharee to marry Burin (Ben), Suwipha’s playboy son, who only agrees to the marriage because his family needs Orawee’s wealth to save their failing finances. Devastated, Ekong finds solace in Narin, and their bond eventually blossoms into love.
Orawee’s actions are fueled by a desire to inflict pain on Tharn, who is already struggling. Wichuda has revealed her true, malicious nature, and their daughter, Phakwan (PP), has become a troubled teen. After being expelled from school, Phakwan is sent to a boarding school in Bangkok. Tharn asks Narin—the daughter of his business associate Kamron and a student teacher—to look after her. However, Orawee spies on Tharn’s family and hires Ron to seduce Phakwan and ruin her life. Ron is the brother of Phon, Orawee’s driver and secret lover.
The situation takes a twisted turn when Burin, bored with Atcharee, becomes attracted to Orawee’s maturity and charm. He pursues Orawee until she gives in. Before long, Atcharee discovers the physical affair between her husband and her adoptive mother. Shattered, she flees the house to live with Tharn. Burin eventually realizes his mistakes and tries to win Atcharee back, while Wichuda learns that Orawee is the one who destroyed her daughter’s life.
As the two women engage in a violent confrontation, the question remains: will Orawee ever feel remorse and extinguish the fire of revenge in her heart?
