True Love Story Series - Heart Tied to Each Other

This is the story of To, a documentary photographer and writer whose defining trait is arrogance. Frequently, this personality quirk sparks conflicts with those around him. To lives a solitary family life with Mam. Mam is an eternal optimist, the one person who keeps To's worst impulses in check, and almost the only person who sees the vulnerability beneath To's arrogant exterior.
Mam has suffered from chronic health issues for a long time, which resulted in her being unable to have children. To knows that not being able to conceive has brought Mam immense sorrow, so adopting an orphaned child is the path the couple chooses. "Ter"—derived from the word "Together"—is the name of the little boy, the newest member of To and Mam’s household.
Mam dedicates herself to caring for and loving Ter just as a biological mother would. However, from To’s perspective, he only acts as if he loves the child to make Mam happy. To himself never truly believed that genuine parental love could exist for an adopted child.
Then, one day, a fatal illness suddenly takes Mam away from To. Now, To is filled with despair over losing his loved one. To make matters worse, his career has hit rock bottom, and the burden of raising a child he never loved is too heavy to handle. He wants to stop taking care of the boy, but he cannot because of the final promise he made to Mam.
To grinds it out, stopping himself from giving up, and tries to raise Ter in his own way. It is Ter who slowly begins to change To's attitude without To even realizing it.
Ultimately, To’s family expands to include not only Ter, but his father, Tom, and Mint, who re-enter his life. Everyone opens their hearts to one another like never before. To believes all these good things happened because of Ter, his son, unaware that the crucial part of this change was To himself—transforming his own heart and binding everyone together once again.
