Paa Nang Suea

Mr. Itthi (Thanongsak Suphakan), the head of the anti-illegal logging unit, presides over a medal ceremony for village volunteers who help protect the local forest. He brings along his only daughter, 4-year-old Phrueksa (Jiranan Manochaem). The ceremony goes perfectly, with an honor award given to Uncle Dech (Thapakorn Dissayanan), the leader of the village volunteers and a seasoned war veteran.
After the event, Itthi travels back accompanied by Uncle Dech and a few volunteers. On their way, they are ambushed by criminals. Everyone is killed except Uncle Dech, who manages to escape with little Phrueksa. He takes her deep into the forest to hide, along with surviving volunteers, where they stumble upon a hidden bandit village. Coincidentally, the bandit leader, Saeng (Phutharit Phrombandan), is a former soldier and Dech's old subordinate, so he warmly welcomes them. In reality, these "bandits" are just ordinary villagers who were oppressed by influential figures, lost their land, and fought back, only to be branded as criminals by dark powers and forced into the jungle. Saeng has a son older than Phrueksa named Phai (Than Thanakorn), a daughter two years younger named Jakjan (Watsaphon Watthanakun), and a nephew. Dech tells Saeng about Phrueksa and decides to change her name to "Dao." From then on, she lives with Saeng. Dao, Phai, and Jakjan are raised together as if they were biological siblings.
Time passes, and Dao grows up surrounded by everyone's love. She is very close to Phai and Jakjan. Uncle Dech and the others teach them combat, tracking, and hunting skills, making the three of them highly capable and fearless. Meanwhile, Uncle Dech persuades Saeng and his group to stop being bandits, or if they must rob, to only target corrupt, influential people while helping to protect the forest. Saeng and his men gladly agree to turn over a new leaf.
One day, Dao, Phai, and Jakjan are out hunting and find a mother tiger killed by poachers, leaving a cub behind. They take it in and name it "Saifa" (Lightning). Another day, while Dao and Saifa are training in the forest, they encounter a wandering monk (Yodchai Meksuwan). Dao is surprised to see a monk so deep in the jungle but respectfully offers him some gathered fruits. The monk warns her that taking a human life is a sin and asks her to practice compassion.
Dao argues that she only acts in self-defense and to help others, with no intention of harming anyone unless it is to protect innocent lives. The monk then gives her the moral precepts and chants blessings, granting her sacred protection. Dao bows, but when she looks up, she is amazed to find the monk has vanished. She hurries home to consult Uncle Dech. On the way back, Dao feels a profound connection with all things in the forest. She hears the voices of the trees, feeling as though the guardian spirits and all living things are speaking to her and protecting her. She tells Uncle Dech, who is convinced that the spirits of the forest are manifesting miracles to grant her special powers. Phai, Jakjan, and everyone else are thrilled.
Fifteen years later... Influential illegal logging mafias, including Sia Lerm's (Wense Falconet) and Nai Sinchai's (Theerapong Liaorakwong) groups, arrogantly send men to chop down trees, fearing no law. However, they are brutally attacked by a mysterious shadow and barely escape with their lives. When they return to collect the illegally cut timber, it has vanished. Undeterred, they send more men, but are attacked by the mysterious shadow every single time.
They hold tense meetings to find the culprit but make no progress. All they know is that every time they are attacked, a tiger appears, followed by the dark silhouette of a woman. The woman is dressed in black, wears a tiger mask, possesses terrifying combat skills, and moves as swiftly as a fierce beast. Bullets cannot harm her. In truth, the mysterious shadows are Dao, Jakjan, and Phai. They disguise themselves in black outfits and appear in different spots, blending their movements with Saifa's roars and the rustling of leaves that echo like haunting wails, terrifying the thugs into believing there is a tiger-human.
Rumors spread that the forest is cursed and protected by "Nang Suea" (The Tiger Woman). But the influential figures refuse to give up. They unite and plan another logging operation, even hiring a renowned black magic sorcerer to lead the raid and boost their gunmen's morale. However, the sorcerer and his men are brutally defeated by the Tiger Woman as usual. Normally, besides protecting the forest, Dao secretly mingles with villagers near the forest edge. As illegal businesses run by the mafia's henchmen expand and exploit the locals—who are too far from the law to fight back—Dao, Jakjan, Phai, and Uncle Dech step in to help. If the thugs resort to violence, the Tiger Woman appears to hunt them down.
The influential groups devise a new plan, ordering their gunmen to assassinate forestry officials and spreading rumors that a bandit group led by "The Tiger Woman" is responsible. Authorities hold an urgent meeting. Deputy Kongkiat (Sakkarat Ruekthamrong), a close friend of the late Itthi, assigns Captain Ritthichai (Thanapon Nimthaisuk) to investigate the truth and hunt down the Tiger Woman.
Captain Ritthichai, a forestry police officer, is ordered to track down the Tiger Woman for her killing spree. Even though her actions eliminate bad people, she is still considered an outlaw. While Ritthichai secretly admires her vigilantism, his duty is to catch criminals. Ritthichai goes undercover among the thugs but is caught, drugged, and almost executed in the deep forest. Dao hears the gunshots, finds him about to be killed, and upon hearing the thugs say he is a cop, intervenes. She defeats the criminals, but as Ritthichai turns to see her, he passes out from the drugs, catching only a blurry glimpse. Shortly after, Aphichat (Kate Thanthap), a young lawyer and Ritthichai's best friend/partner, arrives to help. Dao quickly slips away.
Ritthichai gets a lead on Nai Sinchai and visits Don Suea Village with Aphichat. Meanwhile, Uncle Dech brings Dao, Phai, and Jakjan to survey the area. Seeing thugs harassing villagers, the trio steps in to fight. Captain Ritthichai jumps in to help until the thugs flee. They all get acquainted, with Dao hiding her identity as the Tiger Woman. However, Ritthichai secretly notices the trio's exceptional combat agility and keeps his suspicions to himself.
Uncle Dech brings the three to stay in Don Suea Village at Aunt Nian's (Kanchanaporn Plodpai) health center, wanting them to learn city ways. But Dech keeps Dao's true identity a secret for her safety, strictly forbidding Aunt Nian from mentioning Itthi or the old volunteer center.
The villagers hold a 15th-anniversary memorial for Itthi's death. Lady Rattana (Suphansa Nueangphirom), Itthi's widow, attends. Ritthichai and Aphichat provide security. Dao meets Lady Rattana, who feels an immediate, deep bond with her, making Uncle Dech uneasy. Dao also reunites with Ritthichai. They hit it off, and Ritthichai invites her to visit the city. Their romance quietly begins to blossom.
Ritthichai is suspended due to Sinchai's scheming, but this gives him the chance to focus entirely on Don Suea Village. He helps Dao and Jakjan take down a human trafficking ring secretly backed by Sinchai. They raid the detention camp and rescue the women. Dao and Jakjan try to keep a low profile but almost make a fatal mistake; luckily, Uncle Dech arrives in time to save them. Phai, the bandits, and "The Tiger Woman" also join the fight. Ritthichai's suspicions about Dao deepen.
Aphichat discovers that Ai Chai (Suthiphorn Metha), Sinchai's right-hand man, is preparing to smuggle illegal diamonds into the country under the guise of an auction. Aphichat informs Ritthichai. The Tiger Woman also learns of this and plans a heist in Bangkok.
Lady Rattana invites Dao and Jakjan for dinner, joined by Ritthichai and Aphichat. Sinchai invites Lady Rattana to the diamond auction, so she brings Dao and Jakjan along. Ritthichai is recalled to head the security detail for the event, anticipating a confrontation with the Tiger Woman.
A computer facial analysis run by Aphichat shows that young Phrueksa looks exactly like Dao, stunning Ritthichai and Aphichat. They decide to hide the photo from Lady Rattana, as Ritthichai is still unsure if Dao is the Tiger Woman. They alter the photo so it doesn't look like Dao. Lady Rattana is disappointed upon seeing the fake photo but continues to adore Dao. Dao and Jakjan arrive in Bangkok for the auction.
Uncle Dech and Phai disguise themselves as the Tiger Woman to trick Sinchai's men into thinking she is still in Don Suea. Janjira (Arachamon Rattanawarah), Aunt Nian's niece, is attacked by thugs, but Phai saves her and begins to fall for her.
Dao and Jakjan scout the auction hotel and run into Ritthichai. On the day of the auction, the Tiger Woman successfully steals the diamonds, planting them on Sinchai's men so no one finds them during the police search. Later, she returns to steal them back from Sinchai. Furious at being outsmarted, Sinchai orders Linjong (Lalisa Sonthirot), a female assassin, to disguise herself as the Tiger Woman to ruin her "Robin Hood" reputation. Ritthichai realizes Sinchai must have powerful backers.
The fake Tiger Woman goes on a rampage, killing police officers. Jakjan is caught in an explosion caused by the fake gang. Because she received the monk's blessing, her skin is invulnerable, but the concussive force causes fatal internal trauma. Dao meditates, allowing Jakjan's soul to reside within her own body, and hides Jakjan's comatose body in a cave. Dao brings Ritthichai and Aphichat to see Jakjan's lifeless body, and they are shocked when Jakjan speaks to them from within Dao.
Seeing Dao cooperate with him to take down the imposter, Ritthichai realizes Dao is the real Tiger Woman. Dao defeats the imposter sent by Sinchai. At the beach, Dao and Ritthichai try to save a drowning madwoman but fail. Jakjan's soul then enters the madwoman's body. Everyone is overjoyed she has a temporary new body, and Aphichat playfully teases her, calling her "Crazy Grandma."
Ritthichai receives intel about Sinchai's counterfeit money operation. They ambush the gang transporting printing plates, but Ritthichai's team is tricked and captures the wrong people.
In Don Suea, Sinchai's men kidnap Janjira and Aunt Nian because Nian plans to rebuild the volunteer camp. Dao and Jakjan return just in time to save them. Hearing about Itthi's legacy, Dao decides to rebuild the camp. Jakjan (as the Tiger Woman) captures the fake Tiger Woman, but Linjong intervenes and silences the imposter before she can talk.
Lady Rattana opens the new volunteer camp but is ambushed and injured by gunmen. Enraged, Dao hunts them down, getting injured herself. Ritthichai arrives to save her. The forest wind telepathically alerts Phai and Uncle Dech to assist them. Sinchai is furious his men failed. His bank accounts are drained because Ritthichai secretly transferred the funds to charities. The "Big Boss" orders Sinchai to eliminate the Tiger Woman and Ritthichai immediately. Sinchai has Linjong constantly harass the camp.
In the forest, Dao's informant reports illegal loggers. The Tiger Woman leads a raid, easily routing them, with Kamjorn (Nanthasai Phisalyabut) recording everything. But as they are moving the hidden timber...
Government forces suddenly surround them. Dao is furious, believing Captain Ritthichai betrayed her. She is captured, unmasked, and taken to Bangkok. Ritthichai brings Kamjorn along as a witness. However, during the transport, heavily armed men attack. All officers are killed. Dao, Ritthichai, and Kamjorn are held hostage. The face of the evil mastermind businessman is finally revealed, and he orders them all killed. In this critical moment, Uncle Dech and his men arrive and rescue Dao.
But with the love, trust, and resentment between Captain Ritthichai and Dao, as well as the revelation of her true origins and the man who caused her father's death, how will Dao/The Tiger Woman handle everything?
