Ravich, a hardworking and promising young engineer, strives to build a stable future. One day, he meets Sasi, a seamstress who rents a house nearby. The two quickly fall in love, decide to build a life together, and eventually have a daughter named Baibua, the symbol of their love.
Just as their small family begins to find happiness, tragedy strikes—Sasi is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Within a year, she passes away, leaving Ravich and their daughter behind. Misfortune continues when Ravich suffers a serious accident, breaking his leg and requiring hospitalization. There, he meets Piengjai, a nurse who takes close care of him. Their relationship blossoms into love, and they eventually become a family. Piengjai brings along her temperamental daughter, Ingfa, to live with them.
Twenty years later, Ravich moves his family to Bangkok to open a small grocery store, hoping to give the children better educational opportunities. However, Ingfa disappoints him—she neglects her studies, prefers dressing up to attract men, and deceives wealthy men for money in exchange for intimacy. Although Baibua knows Ingfa’s true nature, she keeps silent out of fear of upsetting Piengjai, confiding only in her close friend, Chaidaen.
Fate soon leads Baibua to meet Kalan, an ambitious young businessman. They accidentally bump into each other at a BTS station, and Kalan is immediately captivated by her charm. However, before they can speak, Baibua leaves, accidentally dropping her phone. Kalan keeps it, hoping she will return for it—but instead, Chaidaen comes to retrieve it, making Kalan believe they are a couple.
Meanwhile, Kalan’s younger brother, Kornwit, returns from abroad after failing his studies. Spoiled by their parents, Chan and Panwad, Kornwit becomes isolated and spends most of his time chatting online. He meets Ingfa, who pretends to be “Baibua” online. Their relationship escalates quickly, but Ingfa only intends to exploit him. She introduces him to drugs, leading to his downward spiral. When Kornwit discovers her deception and new lover, he becomes heartbroken, overdoses, and jumps to his death.
Kornwit’s death devastates the family. Panwad becomes withdrawn, and Chan turns to reckless behavior. Kalan, filled with rage, blames “Baibua” for his brother’s death. He hires a detective to find her—only to discover she is the same woman he once fell for.
When Baibua later applies for a job at his company, Kalan hires her with the intention of revenge. His friend and business partner, Burin, immediately takes an interest in her despite being involved with Ingfa. Kalan and another partner, Alina, who secretly loves Kalan, make Baibua’s life miserable at work.
Under pressure from his mother, Kalan is forced to marry Alina, but he refuses. Instead, he hires Baibua to pretend to be his wife to deceive his mother. At the same time, Ravich’s health deteriorates, and Baibua desperately needs money for his treatment, so she agrees.
Living together brings constant tension—Baibua faces mistreatment from Kalan, Panwad, and Alina. Meanwhile, Kalan grows jealous of Chaidaen, believing he and Baibua are having an affair. In a moment of frustration, Kalan goes out drinking with Burin and encounters Ingfa, who becomes interested in him.
Ingfa later joins Kalan’s company as an intern and is shocked to discover that Baibua is his wife—and that Kalan is Kornwit’s brother. Realizing her role in Kornwit’s death, she pretends to repent and begs Baibua to keep her secret. Baibua agrees out of sympathy, unaware that Ingfa continues to manipulate and slander her.
As conflicts intensify, Ravich’s condition worsens. Baibua discovers that Piengjai has been using the money meant for Ravich’s treatment on her lover. Soon after, Ravich passes away. Heartbroken, Baibua decides to divorce Kalan. However, Kalan has fallen in love with her and tries to stop her, but fails.
Ingfa and Burin continue scheming, causing further misunderstandings. In a rage, Kalan gets into a car accident. Feeling guilty, Baibua returns to care for him, and eventually, they reconcile and marry out of genuine love.
But peace is short-lived. Ingfa becomes pregnant with Burin’s child, but he forces her to have an abortion. She then plots to trap Kalan, creating a situation that makes Baibua believe she and Kalan have been intimate. At the same time, Baibua discovers she is pregnant with Kalan’s child. Hurt and furious, she leaves him and claims the child belongs to Chaidaen.
As tensions escalate, Kalan eventually learns the truth—that Ingfa, not Baibua, caused his brother’s death. Overcome with guilt, he arranges to confront Ingfa. However, Burin murders Ingfa and frames Kalan. Kalan is arrested, and Baibua believes he killed Ingfa out of revenge.
Chaidaen steps in with evidence, including a recording of Ingfa confessing her wrongdoing. Kalan is cleared of all charges. Later, Alina attempts to expose Burin but is killed in a staged car accident. However, she had secretly left evidence with her lawyer, leading to Burin’s eventual downfall.
With the truth revealed and the chaos settling, Kalan searches desperately for Baibua—but she has vanished without a trace.
