Hao, the only son of Village Chief Khian, is on the verge of graduating with a physical education degree. However, he gets into a brawl with local thugs and accidentally kills someone. To protect him from the police, his father sends him to Bangkok to hide under the protection of Pa Mo, a city mafia boss.
Upon arriving in Bangkok, Hao rescues a young woman named Lek from a bag snatcher. Hao lies to her, claiming he is just looking for work. Lek invites him to her brother’s recruitment agency, but they arrive to find her brother being brutally murdered by gunmen. Fearing police involvement due to his past, Hao flees immediately without saying goodbye to Lek.
Hao eventually meets Pa Mo and befriends Thun, the gardener. Thun explains that Pa Mo is being threatened by the Sun King Gang, three brothers from abroad looking to topple Pa Mo’s empire. Worried about Lek, Hao returns to find her just as the Sun King Gang attempts to kidnap her. He rescues her and brings her to Pa Mo’s house. However, the gang tracks her down, planning to sell her abroad. Hao, Thun, and Pa Mo launch a raid, successfully destroying the Sun King Gang's hideout.
Impressed by Hao’s combat skills, Pa Mo asks him to stay. They face a new threat from Chen Gao Xing, a mafia boss from Taipei. Chen Gao Xing’s key enforcers are two female assassins, Sun Hwa and Ma Lin. However, Sun Hwa and her lover, Kao, plan to betray Chen Gao Xing by inciting a war between him and Pa Mo. The plan backfires, resulting in the deaths of Sun Hwa, Kao, and Pa Mo, while Chen Gao Xing manages to escape.
With Pa Mo dead, Hao decides to leave the underworld to start a new life with Lek at her home. However, Lek’s parents despise Hao’s criminal background and pressure him to leave her. Heartbroken, Hao disappears without a word and returns to Bangkok. He reunites with Thun, who introduces him to Sia Ku, a cafe owner and old friend of Pa Mo who is being extorted by Chen Gao Xing. Hao agrees to help and successfully takes down Chen Gao Xing for good.
Seeking an honest living, Hao meets Muay, the daughter of a factory owner. She offers him a job, and as they spend time together, their bond grows into love. Hao tries his best to forget Lek. Meanwhile, Lek discovers the truth from her parents about why Hao left. She runs away from home to find him in Bangkok. Caught between his old flame and his new love, Hao must decide how this love triangle will end.
