Pai Kam Plerng

Amid the Songkran festival in Surin, Buchit is invited by Lueat (Mek Winai Kraibutr) to join the celebrations. However, he soon becomes the target of hostility from local men—especially Mai, a hot-headed young man who has a deep grudge against Lueat. Mai despises Lueat because his family is known for cheating villagers out of their land, and he assumes Buchit is no different.
Lueat introduces Buchit to Khamphen, Maifa, and Usawadee, the latter being a princess of a Khmer city. Both Lueat and Mai secretly have feelings for Usawadee, while she, in turn, falls for Buchit. Meanwhile, Khamphen secretly loves Mai, and Maifa is deeply in love with Lueat.
