The Wongwaran family has two sons: Phuripat and Peerapol. Their mother, Khun Ying Kamala, openly favors Peerapol over Phuripat. To avoid constant conflict, their father, Phakin, decides to send Phuripat to study abroad.
Peerapol falls in love with Mathumas, a beautiful PR staff member at a hotel. However, Khun Ying Kamala has already arranged for him to marry Chalita, the daughter of her friend Khun Ying Chonlada. She orders Peerapol to stop seeing Mathumas, but he continues to meet her in secret.
After years of working overseas, Phuripat finally returns to Thailand. On his way home, he witnesses a young woman being attacked by a thief at a bus stop. Phuripat steps in to save her, but when she regains consciousness, she mistakes him for the criminal. She delivers a swift kick between his legs and bolts, leaving Phuripat doubled over in pain, unable to make a sound.
Back at the house, Khun Ying Kamala tasks Phuripat with breaking up Peerapol and Mathumas. Eager to please his mother, Phuripat agrees. When he sees a photo of the woman Peerapol is seeing, he realizes she is the same one who kicked him the night before. Sensing she is a real troublemaker, Phuripat orders his employees to trail Mathumas and intimidate her into staying away from his brother.
