The School Years

Manoch, Ramphan, Lamiat, and Khiri all attend the same school. However, a clear social divide exists:

• Khiri: The son of Phra Preecha, the school's wealthiest benefactor. Because of his father's influence, teachers and staff treat him with extreme deference. Khiri is a bully who targets those weaker than him.
• Manoch: A courageous and stoic student. Whenever Khiri causes trouble, he is never held accountable; instead, Manoch often becomes the scapegoat, silently enduring punishments for things he did not do.
• Ramphan: A beautiful, kind-hearted girl from a noble family who is beloved by everyone.
• Lamiat: A diligent and friendly girl. While most people adore her, Khiri and his clique look down on her, Mocking her as nothing more than a "house servant."
