Pak, the eldest son of the Pichitpong family, never received love from his father, Kawee. Instead, Kawee lavished all his affection on the younger brother, Pakorn. Pak often vented his hurt to his mother, Ampha, who could only comfort him and ask him to endure. One day, Pak’s patience finally snapped, and he ran away from home. His departure left everyone devastated, especially Amawasee, a niece Kawee had taken in, who had secretly loved Pak for years.
Ten years later, the Pichitpong family's financial situation has severely declined. However, Pakorn remains as extravagant as ever. He is also possessive of Amawasee whenever other men visit, but she remains indifferent because her heart still belongs to Pak. At a homecoming party for Warin (the brother of Watcharee), Amawasee happens to meet Raj Ratchapoom. She is convinced that Raj and Pak are the same person, but Raj denies it.
Meanwhile, Kawee and Ampha are desperate for money after Pakorn gets Seeprai, the daughter of a janitor named Nai Sud, pregnant. To settle the matter, they decide to sell "Baan Kaew," and the buyer turns out to be Raj Ratchapoom. Pakorn becomes so obsessed with Amawasee that he begs Kawee to arrange a marriage between them. Amawasee feels forced to agree because Kawee uses the debt of gratitude for raising her against her. Wanting to see Raj’s reaction, she tells him about the wedding. Though Raj congratulates her, he is secretly heartbroken.
Raj decides to kidnap Amawasee. An enraged Pakorn hires Jamlong to track them down, eventually finding them at a farm. Jamlong lures Raj away and forges a note to trick Amawasee into leaving with him. He imprisons her in a deserted hut, but she manages to escape when Saibua, Jamlong’s jealous wife, secretly releases her. In the city, Pakorn is lured into gambling by Jamlong until he loses everything. He eventually reunites with Seeprai, the woman he once treated as a toy, who still loves and forgives him. Realizing his mistakes, Pakorn changes his ways.
As the Pichitpong family faces total bankruptcy, Kawee decides to sell their main estate. M.R. Thipsuda buys it, intending to return it to Pak. When she finally tracks down Raj, she confirms he is indeed Pak. She reveals a long-hidden truth to her relative, Mom Kathathep (Ampha's former lover): Pak is actually the biological son of Ampha and Kathathep, not Kawee. Hearing this, Raj finally understands why Kawee was always so cruel to him. He rushes to see Kawee and Ampha to thank them for raising him and invites everyone to live together again.
Meanwhile, Warin begins courting Amawasee, and Pak—still hiding his feelings—encourages her to accept Warin's love. Feeling hurt and believing Pak loves someone else, Amawasee grows distant. On the wedding day of Pakorn and Seeprai, Amawasee tries to make Pak jealous by acting close to Warin. Suddenly, she spots Jamlong aiming a gun at Pak. Amawasee throws herself in front of the bullet to save him. Her ultimate sacrifice finally dissolves the "wildness" in Pak’s heart.
