Amnat Khwam Rak

It is a story of love that overpowers everything else. Pim Sriwiang is a fish vendor in Si Racha. Because of her beauty, she is admired by many young men, including Thap, her stepfather, and Sin Hansamut, a local thug. Both secretly love her in silence, until Nakhon Udomlak, a tourist, appears. Nakhon brings his younger sister, Nara, and his close friend, Chob Wichai, to vacation in Si Racha, but their boat capsizes in a storm, and they seek shelter with Pim. Nakhon and Pim grow close, arousing Sin’s jealousy. He decides to force himself on Pim in broad daylight, but Nakhon arrives in time to save her. Sin then tries various ways to ambush and harm Nakhon, but Thap comes to his aid and is stabbed, grievously wounded. Before dying, Thap confesses to Pim that he did not love her like a daughter, but as a lover, and asks for one last kiss before his final breath.
