Tak Mayura Sawetsila

Mayura Sawetsila (née Ratana Chatthanabut, former name Mayura Thanabut), born on 2 July 1958, is a well-known Thai actress and television host. She has been active in the Thai entertainment industry since 1975 and is widely recognized for her long and influential career.

She began her career as a model, later moving into films and television dramas. Over time, she became especially famous as a TV host, gaining nationwide popularity from hosting major Thai television programs, particularly game shows and live entertainment programs such as 7 See Concert and Ching Roi Ching Lan.

In 1979, Mayura survived a serious car accident that caused severe injuries and required the removal of her uterus. Despite this life-changing event, she successfully returned to the entertainment industry and continued her career.

She married Thada Sawetsila in 1984. The couple has no biological children but adopted a child. Mayura is respected not only for her talent as an actress and host, but also for her resilience and longevity in Thai show business.
