Saming Pa Sak is the son of a jungle explorer and a hill tribe woman. After his parents are killed by bandits, he is raised by the hill tribe chief. Later, he saves a forestry official from a wild elephant and is adopted by him to receive a city education. Years later, Saming becomes a skilled jungle guide. He rescues a woman from bandits, angering their leader. The bandits track Saming to Kanchanaburi, leading to a fierce confrontation on the River Kwai and a final battle in the mountains to save his love.
