Will You Marry Monk? tells the story of Luang Pee Pae, a devout Thai monk. One day, he receives an invitation from his only sister, Orm, who is living in Japan and planning to get married. Accompanied by the temple’s caretaker Song and two mischievous temple boys, Ueng and Tod, they embark on a journey to Japan, only to discover that Orm’s fiancé is Phra Chin, a Japanese monk with a gangster past. Though it’s not the monk’s duty, Luang Pee Pae steps in to prevent the marriage.
