A story of life in the fields of Bang Khen, amidst buffaloes, mud, and the natural elements. It follows the life of Lue, a simple man who must face a bitter grudge involving love and betrayal. When his wife and child are taken from him, he must take up his sword once more to wash away his tears with blood. The film explores three different flavors of love: Lue's honest love for his wife and child, the love of a mistress, and the youthful love of a young girl for a cheerful man.
