Blissfully Yours (Sud Saneha)

Rung, a factory worker who paints plaster statues, falls in love with a young Karen man—also described as a Burmese migrant worker—named Min, who has fled to Thailand as an undocumented laborer. Min suffers from a skin condition, prompting Rung to take him for treatment. However, because he is a migrant worker, he receives little attention or support from Thailand’s social welfare system. As a result, Rung entrusts and pays Aunt Orn to take care of Min while she is at work.
Aunt Orn is a middle-aged woman who longs to have another child after her first one drowned. She tries to conceive with her husband, a government official, but he refuses. Desperate, she seeks another way to have a child by entering into an affair with one of her husband’s colleagues.
