Driven by passion, Phanit travels to Ang Thong Province for work and falls deeply in love with Ladda, a local woman. In doing so, he forgets his young child and his devoted wife, Phuangkaew. Worse still, he brings Ladda back home, humiliating Phuangkaew and driving her to leave in heartbreak, while Phanit indulges in his new relationship.
However, Ladda is unfaithful and secretly involved with another man, plotting to strip Phanit of his wealth. Before long, her true nature is revealed. When Phanit discovers the truth, he drives her away—but Ladda refuses to leave quietly. Consumed by anger, she plots revenge and attempts to kill him. Instead, she accidentally kills her own lover. To escape punishment, she frames Phanit for the crime, leading to his arrest.
Upon hearing the news, Phuangkaew returns, still loyal and loving despite everything. While imprisoned, Phanit comes to regret his actions and realizes the depth of his wife’s devotion. On the day of the trial, a witness comes forward, proving Phanit’s innocence. He is acquitted and finally reunited with Phuangkaew, restoring their love once more.
