This is the story of Sema, a blacksmith who dreams of becoming a soldier serving his nation during the reign of King Naresuan. Gifted with exceptional swordsmanship, Sema catches the attention of Phan Intharacha, who takes a liking to him and recommends him to serve under Khun Ram.
However, Sema quickly becomes a rival to Muu Khan, both in duty and in love. The two men fall for the same woman—Rerai, Khun Ram’s daughter—but her heart leans toward Sema. Out of jealousy, Muu Khan repeatedly slanders him, causing Khun Ram to punish Sema time and again. Even though Sema proves himself as a valuable warrior in battles against the forces of Hongsawadee, Khun Ram never fully trusts him.
In one decisive battle, Sema leads a victorious charge, defeating the enemy and forcing them to retreat. For his bravery, he is awarded the title of Muen Suk (a military rank). Hoping to reunite with Rerai, he returns—only to find that Muu Khan has once again accused them of wrongdoing. Ashamed, Khun Ram imprisons his own daughter.
When Sema learns of this, he risks everything to rescue Rerai, even if it means fighting against Khun Ram’s own forces.
