ใต้ฟ้า ตะวันเดียว
Windy (Chat Priyachat) falls in love with Park Chongmin (Ryan Vongparun) while studying in the United States. After graduation, Chongmin invites her to visit his hometown in Korea and proposes marriage, promising that his parents will soon go to Thailand to formally ask for her hand. Windy is overjoyed, but deep down she is worried, because everyone in her family — especially her grandmother Phanochan (Piatip) — strongly dislikes Koreans. Whenever Windy asks why, both her mother Ruthai (Ratchanu Boonchooduang) and her aunt Saji (Pu Narisara) avoid the question.
At the same time, Jiyoon (Ploy Passorn), the daughter of Lee Jeongsok (Nirut), a wealthy Korean businessman, is robbed while shopping. She is rescued by Kim Minho (Mario), a handsome but outwardly cold young man. Jiyoon falls for him at first sight and soon discovers that he is the new engineer at her father’s company. The two quickly begin a relationship, although her aunt Wayoung (May Fueng-arom) disapproves, because she wants Jiyoon to marry Junsu (Eli of U-Kiss), her adopted son who grew up with Jiyoon, so that she can seize the family fortune for herself.
Later, Windy discovers that her own father is actually Lee Jeongsok, the same wealthy Korean businessman, who abandoned her mother and unborn child years ago. She decides to write him a letter, telling him that she is his daughter and that she is coming to Korea to find him. But Wayoung intercepts the letter first and sends her loyal henchman Wanmin (A A Peerawat) to the airport to capture and kill Windy. Chongmin arrives in time to save her, but he is shot and critically wounded. Windy rushes him to the hospital, where she meets Kim Minho, who is there visiting his girlfriend Jiyoon.
Wanmin is then ordered to capture Windy again, but Minho and his close friend Namjae (Kim Kibum) happen to see what is happening and chase after them to help. During the pursuit, Wanmin pushes the unconscious Windy out of the car, hoping it will look like an accident, but Minho and Namjae, driving behind, manage to save her.
While trying to contact Windy’s family, Minho accidentally learns that she is Lee Jeongsok’s daughter — and that Jeongsok is his bitter enemy, the man responsible for driving Minho’s father to suicide. Filled with hatred, Minho changes his mind and takes Windy to hide in his house deep in the forest, where he torments her in various ways, with Namjae and Chaegi (Kong Piya) watching over them.
Meanwhile, Wayoung still wants Jiyoon to marry Junsu, even though Jiyoon only loves him like a brother. Wayoung spreads rumors that Minho has another woman, causing Jiyoon — who has suffered from heart disease since childhood — so much distress that she collapses and is hospitalized. Minho hears the news from his friend Sokyung (Lee Hae-woo) and rushes out of the forest house to see her. When Jiyoon asks him about the rumors, Minho denies everything and says he has been framed.
When Wayoung learns that Windy is still alive, she orders Wanmin to kill her once again. On that same day, Minho falls seriously ill, giving Windy a chance to escape. But when she sees Wanmin and his men approaching first, her growing concern and attachment to Minho lead her to flee with him from the forest instead. After they escape, Windy takes Minho to the hospital for treatment. She then secretly goes to look for Chongmin, only to learn the heartbreaking truth that he has already died. Devastated, she runs away and rents a cheap house — which by coincidence belongs to Sokyung. Having been attracted to Windy since the first time he met her, Sokyung takes good care of her. Once Minho recovers, he goes to Sokyung’s house and encounters Windy again. The two immediately start bickering, to Sokyung’s surprise.
Later, Jiyoon meets Windy and feels an immediate fondness for her, inviting her to come live at the family home. At last, Windy meets her father and learns that she and Jiyoon are actually sisters. Minho then decides to ask Jiyoon to marry him as part of his plan to reclaim the fortune from Lee Jeongsok. Jiyoon is overjoyed, while Junsu is heartbroken — and Windy begins to feel something strange stirring in her own heart.
Wayoung then decides to poison Jiyoon, using Junsu to deliver it. On the wedding day, Jiyoon accidentally overhears Minho confessing his love for Windy and learns that he married her only for revenge. The shock causes Jiyoon’s heart condition to flare up, and combined with the poison, she falls into a coma and must undergo emergency surgery.
When Junsu hears the news, he rushes to the hospital. Along the way, he discovers the truth: his adoptive mother Wayoung is the one behind everything. Realizing that he must do something to stop this evil, Junsu is forced to make a choice.
What will Junsu do? Will Jiyoon survive? Will Minho continue down his path of revenge? And how will the love between Minho and Windy end?
