ธนาทัศน์ (ธรรศภาคย์ ซี) หนุ่มนักเรียนนอก ที่รับผิดชอบเรื่องธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของครอบครัว ได้เป็นอย่างดี แต่แล้ว อยู่ ๆ เขาก็ปรับเปลี่ยนชีวิตโดยไม่ปรึกษาใคร การถ่ายรูปคือสิ่งที่เขารักที่จะทำ ก่อนที่จะไม่มีดวงตามองเห็นภาพสวยงามจากจินตนาการของเขา และในเส้นทางเดินของธนาทัศน์เขาไม่ได้เดินไปคนเดียวแบบโดดเดี่ยว แต่เพราะพรหมลิขิตหรือความบังเอิญ ทำให้เขา และเธอได้มาเจอกันอีกครั้งกับ พอเพียง (ภัทรธิดา พัชรวีระพงษ์) ลูกสาวคนใช้ที่เป็นคนสนิทของ อรัญญา (สาวิตรี สามิภักดิ์) แม่ของเขา ซึ่งเป็นไกด์ฝึกหัดอยู่ที่ประเทศจีน ในขณะที่พานักท่องเที่ยวเดินชมสถานที่ต่าง ๆ อยู่ และเป็นจังหวะเดียวกับที่เขาได้มาเก็บภาพสวยงาม แต่ความวุ่นวายต่าง ๆ ได้เกิดขึ้นกับการเจอกันครั้งแรก ทำให้ทั้งคู่ทะเลาะกันจนพอเพียงทำอุปกรณ์ถ่ายภาพของธนาทัศน์เสียหาย และปัญหาคือไม่มีตังค์จ่าย เดือดร้อนถึง เจ๊แหนม (พุทธชาด พงศ์สุชาติ) ซึ่งเป็นหัวหน้าทัวร์ ต้องเป็น คนชี้แจง และรับประกันเรื่องการชดใช้หนี้ ยิ่งเป็นเหตุให้พอเพียงโดนเจ๊แหนมกระหน่ำด่าทุกวันลับหลังลูกทัวร์

ผาทิศ (ธนา เอี่ยมนิยม) น้องชายของธนาทัศน์เข้ามารับผิดชอบธุรกิจของครอบครัวได้ดี แต่เขา หารู้ไม่ว่ามักมีคนคอยหนุนหลังตลอด โดยเฉพาะแม่ของเขา ซึ่งจับคู่ให้ผาทิศแต่งงานกับ ปรางค์ (ปกฉัตร เทียมชัย) ตามแบบฉบับพวกไฮโซ แต่ไม่มีใครรู้ว่าเบื้องหลังชีวิตคู่มันสกปรกสิ้นดี และยังไม่วายจับคู่ให้ธนาทัศน์อีกด้วย โดยมี เพียงทิพย์ (ไปรมา รัชตะ) เพื่อนสนิทสมัยเรียนมาแตร์มาด้วยกัน คอยหยิบยื่น เอมมี่ (แองจี้ เฮสตี้ง) ลูกสาวสุดเท่ให้หลังจากนั้น เอมมี่กับปรางค์ก็ถูกส่งตัวไปยังประเทศจีน เพื่อดึงตัวธนาทัศน์ให้กลับมาซึ่งตอนนั้นเองที่ธนาทัศน์เริ่มคุ้นกับพฤติกรรมของพอเพียง และยังจำได้ว่า เธอคือเพื่อนเล่นของเขาตอนเด็ก ๆ แต่ในระหว่างที่เขากำลังสร้างความคุ้นเคยกับเธอ ก็ดูเหมือนว่าเธอยิ่งรู้สึกรำคาญเขาขึ้นทุกวัน และเกมส์ของเขาได้จบลง เมื่อเอมมี่กับปรางค์ได้มาถึง ความวุ่นวายที่เขาพยายามปกปิดตัวตนต่อหน้าพอเพียง และหลบหลีกเล่ห์เหลี่ยมของเอมมี่จึงเกิดขึ้น

วันหนึ่ง เมี่ยง (ขวัญฤดี กลมกล่อม) แม่ของพอเพียงที่เป็นโรค อัลไซเมอร์ ที่ถูกทอดทิ้งอยู่ที่บ้าน คนเดียว ได้สร้างวีรกรรมเผาบ้านตัวเอง เป็นเหตุให้ชาวบ้านพากันขับไล่ แต่ก็มีป้าสวย และไม้ ญาติคนเดียวที่คอยให้ที่อยู่ ทำให้ธนาทัศน์ยังคอยตามหาทางช่วยเหลือพอเพียงอยู่ตลอด และด้วยความบังเอิญอีกเช่นกัน ผาทิศก็ได้ก้าวเข้ามาในชีวิตของพอเพียง ซึ่งสามารถเปิดเผยตัวตน และหยิบยื่นความช่วยเหลือต่าง ๆ ให้พอเพียงโดยที่ไม่ต้องหลบ ๆ ซ่อน ๆ จึงเกิดความแตกร้าวระหว่างผาทิศกับปรางค์ที่ทวีความรุนแรงขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ สวนกระแสกับความรักที่ผาทิศมีให้พอเพียง ซึ่งยิ่งสร้างความเครียดให้แก่ธนาทัศน์ ซึ่งส่งผลไปยังเนื้อเยื่อในสมอง และทำให้เขาต้องสูญเสียดวงตาที่เขารักไป ต่อจากนี้เขาจะดำเนินชีวิต ทำสิ่งที่เขารักได้อย่างไร ติดตามชม ละครเสน่ห์ร้ายอุบายรัก ได้ทุกวันพุธ-พฤหัสบดี เวลา 20.20-21.30 น. ทางช่อง PPTV HD ดิจิทัลทีวีช่อง 36 ละครเสน่ห์ร้ายอุบายรัก เริ่มตอนแรกวันพุธที่ 13 มกราคม 2559

When human lives are consumed by honor, fame, desire, and jealousy, every drama concludes with different outcomes based on their actions. Behind the curtain of the entertainment industry, Monika (played by Tangmo Nida Patcharaveerapong), a young girl dreaming of working to support her family, becomes involved in the behind-the-scenes world of showbiz. She has Wuthichai (played by Bom Thana Aiemniyom), who passionately aspires to be a screenwriter, striving to take care of Monika.

Monika had long admired Rada (played by Sonia Couling), her favorite actress. When she finally met her, she was overjoyed and helped with behind-the-scenes work just to be close to her idol. However, she was deeply disappointed when Rada, the actress she pictured as an angel, insulted and looked down on her over a minor clumsy mistake. This changed Monika's attitude towards her favorite star and the entertainment industry entirely.

Later, Monika tried to enter the industry through castings and various beauty pageants but was blocked by Rada. Eventually, Monika met Oui-ai (played by Ma Ornapa Krisadee), a legendary talent scout who used to be Rada's close friend before being betrayed by her. This gave Oui-ai and Monika the same goal: to topple the throne of the reigning superstar, Rada. Oui-ai groomed Monika to enter the industry and become famous, requiring Monika to sacrifice her dignity as a woman to secure leading roles and attain stardom.

Meanwhile, Rada starred in a cross-border romance series titled Kham Fa Ma Rak alongside a new leading man, Chaichan, the son of a prominent politician. They developed feelings for each other on set in secret. After the series wrapped, Rada dated Chaichan for a while before he returned abroad to continue his studies, revealing to her that he had responsibilities waiting for him in America: a wife and a two-year-old son. Two months later, Rada discovered she was pregnant with Chaichan’s child. Too proud to demand responsibility from him, she decided to handle the situation herself. Rada consulted Ornanong, her closest actress friend. Ornanong advised against abortion, which Rada agreed with. Ornanong suggested Rada announce she was exhausted from acting and wanted to take a break.

Rada decided to fly abroad to stay with her parents, who ran a business in England, because she did not want anyone in Thailand to see her pregnant. Rada gave birth to a son and decided to live in England for over a year with her child and parents. However, her happiness was short-lived as she lost Paul, her nearly two-year-old son, in an accident. Unable to stay in England any longer, Rada returned to Thailand immediately after the funeral. Upon returning, she found herself reduced to a former famous actress, while the number one star in the industry was now Monika.

Rada arranged a meeting with Sasil, telling him she would finance a film with him as the director, but on the condition that Monika must star opposite her. Sasil was deeply surprised, asking if she intended to kill Monika’s career, as Monika’s acting skills were far inferior to Rada’s. Rada replied that if Monika were to be destroyed, it would be because her talent was insufficient. Rada discussed the film production with Ornanong and asked Thanyathep to help contact a top screenwriter. Thanyathep then introduced Wuthichai to Rada. Upon their first meeting, Rada felt Wuthichai bore a striking resemblance to Chaichan, making her feel secretly fond of him.

After reading Wuthichai’s work, she was very pleased. Rada stipulated that Wuthichai must stay at her house while writing to keep track of every step of the process and forbade him from accepting other work, for which she would pay a substantial fee. Wuthichai accepted all her conditions, thinking that if he succeeded, he would instantly become famous. Rada told Wuthichai to come up with the story himself, but it must involve emotional confrontation between her and Monika.

One day, while driving home, Rada was held up by criminals at her gate. Wuthichai happened to return in time to help her. A criminal’s gun went off, shooting Rada before fleeing. Wuthichai rushed Rada to the hospital. The doctor stated Rada had lost a lot of blood and needed an urgent transfusion, but the hospital had no reserve. Coincidentally, Wuthichai had the same blood type, so he donated blood to Rada until he fainted. When Rada woke up in the hospital room and learned that Wuthichai had saved her life by donating blood until he fainted, she felt even more fondly towards him. Wuthichai changed Rada; she became gentler and found love. She fell in love with Wuthichai, believing he loved her too.

Monika asked to end her secret relationship with Sasil, saying she was in love with Wuthichai and intended to make this film her last. Sasil replied that he knew the truth and told Monika not to lie. Sasil warned Monika not to act like a hungry hound too often, or one day she wouldn't have even a tiny morsel left. Sasil agreed to break up with Monika despite loving her dearly, saying this might be his last film as well.

Rada asked Wuthichai about his relationship with Monika. Wuthichai admitted the truth, so Rada asked to end her romantic relationship with Wuthichai, despite the immense pain it caused her. In the film they were shooting, Rada was the winner who got the leading man, but in real life, she was the loser.

However, the conclusion of these people behind the curtain of stardom was not yet over. Instead, it reached a conclusion where none of them could ever find happiness again. Follow the dramatic showdown in the battle of the stars in the drama Ploeng Dao (Fire Star), airing every Saturday-Sunday from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM on PPTV HD Digital TV Channel 36, or on cable and satellite channels 6 and 46.
