นางกลางไฟ
Tawanchai (Amyim Julaluck) is an orphan who rises to become a top supermodel. Beautiful, confident, and proud of her dignity, she has Maprang (Mod Treejee), her close friend who grew up with her, helping to take care of her. Tawanchai is an extremely popular model whose outstanding talent wins the hearts of fans across the country. Many men, both young and old, pursue her, including Damrong (Jab Penpetch), a middle-aged wealthy jewelry businessman. He and several other rich men send offers through Susie (Thongthong Mokjok), Tawanchai’s personal manager, hoping to use money to make her their mistress. However, Tawanchai firmly refuses, declaring that in this lifetime she will never agree to become anyone’s second wife or mistress. Still, Damrong persistently tries to win her over. What no one knows is that Tawanchai has been secretly nurturing a romance with Wathin (Khun Chanon), a young man who studied abroad in America and is the beloved son of Damrong.
However, father and son do not get along at all. Damrong wants his son to study business administration and inherit the family business, but Wathin secretly studies photography instead. Even after graduating, he insists on not joining the family business, causing conflict with his father. Wathin eventually leaves home and becomes a photographer for a magazine. There he meets Tawanchai as a model, and they begin dating. Later, Tawanchai discovers that Wathin is a womanizer and breaks up with him. Wathin is humiliated because he has always been the one to leave women first. Both Damrong and Wathin become determined to win Tawanchai’s heart, which greatly displeases Vallapa (Nok Sikharinthara), Damrong’s wife and Wathin’s mother.
While Tawanchai is on a modeling trip to Khao Yai, she meets Thawat (Guy Nopphon), a young architect designing the resort where she is staying, along with his playful best friend Nikhom (Shogun Santhanaphanich). Thawat falls in love with Tawanchai at first sight. After finishing her work, Tawanchai donates winter clothes to orphaned children in a nearby village and takes them to plant trees in the mountains. Unexpectedly, a large snake appears, frightening her. She runs and accidentally collides with Thawat, who is photographing a waterfall, causing them both to fall into the water. Tawanchai cannot swim and nearly drowns, but Thawat saves her. The two become lost in the forest and must spend the night in a wildlife observation tower. Thawat takes good care of her, impressing Tawanchai with his gentlemanly nature. Her heart begins to tremble in a way she has never felt before.
Susie and Maprang worry about Tawanchai, while Nikhom and the villagers search all night before finally finding the pair the next day. Back at the resort, Tawanchai treats Thawat to dinner to thank him for saving her life. He asks to take a photo with her and get her autograph for Saiparn (Mook AF10), his younger sister who idolizes Tawanchai. That night, Tawanchai drinks heavily and becomes drunk. Thawat escorts her back to her room, and overcome by his feelings, he kisses her. Tawanchai, intoxicated and unable to control herself, ends up sleeping with him.
The next morning, Tawanchai wakes up and finds herself in bed with Thawat. She is shocked and angry, accusing him of taking advantage of her while she was unconscious. Thawat confesses his love and offers to take responsibility for everything, but Tawanchai does not trust him. She fears the incident will damage her career and reputation, so she rejects his offer and asks that they go their separate ways and never get involved again. Heartbroken, Thawat spitefully decides to marry Duangsuda (Mali Coat), Damrong’s beautiful daughter who has long been interested in him. Thawat’s mother, Suntree (Pimkae Kunchorn Na Ayutthaya), is delighted because Duangsuda’s family had once helped theirs.
Despite their attempts to forget each other, Thawat and Tawanchai cannot stop thinking about one another. Later, while Tawanchai models jewelry for Damrong, she is shocked to encounter Thawat again. Suddenly, she faints on the runway, and Thawat catches her before she falls off the stage. Afterwards, Nikhom tells her that Thawat is going to marry Duangsuda. Tawanchai feels a sharp pain in her heart but pretends to congratulate him.
Soon afterward, Tawanchai discovers that she is pregnant with Thawat’s child. At first she considers having an abortion, but remembering her own painful childhood—being abandoned at an orphanage after her mother once considered aborting her—she decides to keep the baby. She then changes her mind and determines to take Thawat back to be the father of her child.
On the day of Thawat and Duangsuda’s wedding, Tawanchai storms into the ceremony and publicly declares that she is Thawat’s wife, presenting proof of her pregnancy. Everyone is stunned. Duangsuda flies into a rage and attacks Tawanchai, causing chaos at the wedding. The next day, fans across the country are shocked by the scandal. Tawanchai’s career collapses as she is removed from the entertainment industry.
Although Thawat cannot abandon Tawanchai and their unborn child, he also cannot leave Duangsuda. He agrees to secretly support Tawanchai as his hidden wife. Tawanchai reluctantly accepts for the sake of her child, even though she once vowed never to become anyone’s mistress. Feeling pity for herself, she endures the situation.
Thawat treats her coldly at first, still hurt by her earlier rejection and believing she is a carefree woman who does not value love. Tawanchai finally confesses that she rejected him before because she feared for her career and reputation, and that she truly loves him. But Thawat does not believe her, thinking she is only pretending so he will accept the child as his.
As conflicts intensify among Thawat, Tawanchai, Damrong, and Wathin, jealousy, rivalry, and hatred grow. Tawanchai eventually gives birth to a son named Saifah. However, Duangsuda discovers the truth and becomes determined to destroy Tawanchai and the child. She kidnaps Saifah and threatens his life to force Tawanchai to leave Thawat.
Heartbroken, Tawanchai flees with her child to another province. Thawat desperately searches everywhere until he finally finds them again and confesses that he cannot live without her and their son. They reunite, and Thawat decides to divorce Duangsuda.
Enraged, Duangsuda attempts various schemes—including arson—to kill Tawanchai and her child. Although she is eventually exposed, the conflict escalates further. During one incident, Thawat suffers a severe car accident and loses his memory. Duangsuda manipulates him into believing Tawanchai is a deceitful woman who tried to trap him with another man’s child. Misled, Thawat turns against Tawanchai, treating her with cruelty and hatred.
With Thawat no longer remembering the truth, Tawanchai faces endless hostility and persecution. Nikhom, seeing her suffering, begins to develop feelings for her and quietly protects her. Meanwhile, the tangled relationships, jealousy, and revenge among the characters intensify, pushing everyone toward an increasingly tragic confrontation.
The story continues as love, betrayal, jealousy, and redemption collide in the struggle over Tawanchai’s fate and the future of her child.
