แต่แล้วตรัยก็ต้องกลับไปดูแลบริษัท เพราะตรีทศถูกฆาตกรรม โดยตรัยสงสัยทั้ง ราเชนทร์ (ป๊อป ฐากูร) ลูกบุญธรรมที่ตรีทศอุปการะ ซึ่งไม่ถูกกับตรัยมาตั้งแต่เด็ก แถมราเชนทร์ยังชอบผักบุ้งและเปิดศึกเป็นศัตรูหัวใจกับตรัยออกหน้าออกตา ไหนจะ มุกมณี (อุ๋ม อาภาศิริ) หุ้นส่วนบริษัทที่หวังฮุบกิจการของตรีทศ โดยมุกมณีคอยสนับสนุนให้ราเชนทร์เอาชนะตรัย ตรัยต้องดูแลบริษัทของพ่อและตามหาตัวฆาตกรที่แท้จริงให้ได้
