Synopsis
“Rom Phakhanan” (Mik Thongraya) is a powerful southern businessman haunted by wounds from the past. He has long waited for the chance to take revenge on “Kamonthat Thaksasut” (Anas Lapanich), the man who drove him into bankruptcy and left him with nothing, forcing him to rebuild his life from scratch. Rom has since risen again and become a wealthy tycoon admired in high society. But the time left for his revenge is running out.
According to the will of the patriarch of the Thaksasut family, the entire inheritance will pass to the sole grandson once he turns 20 years old — and that grandson is “Kulchat” (Kanthorn Charaphinyo), Kamonthat’s son. There are only a few months left before that happens, and once the inheritance is transferred, Rom may lose his only chance to destroy Kamonthat.
Then fate leads Rom to “Doktian” (Natcha Ratchayangkhanon), a young girl dressed like a tomboy selling goods along the beach in Ranong Province. When Rom is harassed by local beach thugs, Tian steps in to help him, and he immediately feels drawn to her. But that very night, Rom runs into Tian again by chance. Tian has been tricked by her wicked older brother “Chan” (Nateeเทพ Bunnak) into being sold for sex, forcing her to flee from both Chan and a perverted wealthy man pursuing her.
Rom offers to take Tian under his protection in exchange for a sum of money that Chan demands as the “price” of his younger sister. This leaves “Jen” (Chompoonuch Phuengphon), a young woman secretly in love with Tian, heartbroken and unable to forget her.
Tian moves into Rom’s seaside mansion. There she meets “Kamaiyathorn Thaksasut” (Nadol Kanin), Rom’s friend, who suffers from a brain illness that has left him mentally confused and forgetful. In Tian’s eyes, Kamaiyathorn sees traces of “Phitphloen” (Chatchadaporn Thananta), his former lover. Phitphloen had been stolen away from him by his older brother Kamonthat through despicable means, leaving her no choice but to marry Kamonthat in order to cover up her humiliation.
And to ensure that the family fortune would not be threatened, Kamonthat cut off his own younger brother by ordering his men to sabotage the brake line of Kamaiyathorn’s car, causing the accident that left him in his current condition.
When Kamaiyathorn notices the ring hanging from a necklace that Tian always wears, his memory begins to return. He remembers that it is the family heirloom ring their father entrusted to him, meant to be given to Kamonthat as a gift for the birth of his first son. Tian explains that her mother forced her to wear the ring before she died and forbade her from ever taking it off. She treasures it deeply because it is the only thing she has left to remember both her mother and her long-lost father.
The meeting between Tian and Kamaiyathorn sparks hope in Rom’s heart. Perhaps the goddess of revenge is finally smiling on him. Rom decides to use Tian as a tool in his revenge plan — never realizing that, in the end, the one who may suffer the most from this revenge will be himself.
