Corrupted

Liu unexpectedly begins her internship at a real estate company, where she faces constant obstacles; bullying, mistreatment, and, worst of all, a bitter clash with her boss, Rachen. Despite everything, she remains determined to prove herself. But troubles keep piling up: her grandmother collapses with illness, and her father, Ja Son, a former police officer, is violently attacked and hospitalized. In the midst of her helplessness, Rachen is the one who reaches out, and their relationship starts to improve. At the same time, Rachen becomes a target of a mysterious figure demanding ransom for stolen business data. As his crisis deepens, Liu notices suspicious behavior within the company that suggests it might be an inside job. She begins investigating the truth, leading her to meet Nen Tham; a young novice monk from a forest temple who is temporarily staying at a large city monastery and is quietly questioning its practices. Together, Liu and Nen Tham uncover evidence of large-scale fraud, with Lung Ging; a temple caretaker and former gangster, as the prime suspect. The deeper Liu digs, the more she realizes she may be nothing more than a crucial pawn in this elaborate game of corruption.
