Nini Ninnara (Paphavadee Chansamon), a sexy actress known for playing villain roles, is currently being condemned by society. She is accused of being behind the disappearance of Dr. Pathapee (Thee Wanichnanthatada), a famous aesthetic surgeon and owner of the Amarita Clinic, who has vanished without a trace for over a month. Nini is heavily criticized for allegedly plotting to take over the clinic for herself. To make matters worse, she receives threatening messages from a mysterious figure, is physically attacked, and her home is constantly ransacked. It is truly a series of unfortunate events.
However, amidst the misfortune crashing down on her, something good happens. She meets Kan Nakan (Thanwa Suriyajak), a man she fell in love with three years ago. Even though time has passed, Nini has never forgotten Nakan. He appears just in time to save her on a day she is being chased and shot at by criminals—a rescue so timely that Nini can’t help but suspect this might be a plan by Nakan to re-enter her life now that she is more beautiful and famous.
Nini never knew before that Nakan is actually Police Captain Nakan. She only knew him as an ordinary gardener, yet she fell in love with him and decided to confess her feelings. However, at that time, Nakan had just been heartbroken by Sirin (Wanisara Perm-udomsap), who left him to marry Jakrawan (Andrew Cronin), a billionaire tycoon. Nakan wasn’t ready to start over with anyone, so he rejected Nini’s love.
When they meet again, Nini asks Nakan to become her personal bodyguard. Apart from her fear that the criminals will return to kill her, another reason is that Nini wants to win over Nakan to make up for the time he slighted her feelings in the past. She is determined to make Nakan fall in love with her.
Currently, Nakan works as a special officer for an international crime investigation unit. He has been assigned to track down illegal diamonds belonging to Tito, also known as the "Devil Merchant," a major global arms dealer. The unit is led by Araya (Krit Atthaseri), with Pokchat (Chanakan Poonsiriwong) and Bua Bucha (Saranya Chunhasart) joining this special task force. The problem is that no one knows who the real Tito is—their face, gender, or age remains a mystery. Everything about Tito is an enigma because orders are given through Kirk Browning (Natee Thep Bunnag), a close subordinate, and Paul (Pongpat Pongpraphai), another henchman, neither of whom has ever seen Tito’s face.
Regarding the recent assassination attempt on Nini, Bua Bucha managed to capture an image and confirm that the shooter was Kirk. Araya believes Nini possesses something Tito wants, and Kirk will definitely return to retrieve it. If they keep Nini under surveillance, there is a chance to get to Kirk, which could lead to the mastermind, Tito. Consequently, Nakan is the one assigned to watch over Nini.
Initially, Nakan did not want to be Nini's bodyguard. However, while tailing her, he discovered she secretly met Dr. Pathapee to ask about the chaos surrounding them. Before she could get answers, attackers barged in. Nakan managed to save Nini and help her escape. Upon questioning her, he learned that Dr. Pathapee had given Nini a white crystal rock mixed in with colored stones she bought from Nepal. Nakan immediately knew this stone was nothing other than Tito's raw diamond. However, Nini has no memory of the stone—she doesn't remember where she put it or if she gave it to anyone. Nakan, therefore, agrees to be Nini's personal bodyguard to wait for the moment Tito's men appear to reclaim the raw diamond and to help trigger Nini's memory of where she hid it.
