Synopsis

The forest is a mysterious place that is never easy to understand, and this time, it serves as the backdrop for an extraordinary adventure. The story begins when a group of university students from a Nature Conservation Club plans a forest survey. Among them is Kamjat, an inventive young man with "MacGyver-like" skills who can build almost anything. However, his real motivation for joining isn't a love for nature, but his secret crush on Mayuree, the beautiful girlfriend of Witthaya.
Accompanying them is Osot, a good-natured guy with one major flaw: his "foul mouth," which leads to constant bickering with Jamnan, a young woman determined to prove she can do anything a man can. To navigate the deep woods, they hire Koh, a "fake" hunter who is obsessed with the classic adventure novel Phet Phra Uma. While Koh impresses the students with tall tales, the skeptical Osot remains his constant critic.
The journey takes a disastrous turn when the group splits up on rafts. Due to Koh's overconfidence, they drift into Myanmar territory and are captured by Karen rebels. Osot and Koh are sent away to fetch ransom money, while the rebel leader takes a liking to Mayuree. Kamjat saves her by creating a distraction with homemade bombs, allowing the students to escape. After surviving a series of mishaps and a powerful earthquake, the students miraculously reunite with Koh and Osot.
Seeking shelter in a cave during another earthquake, the group wakes up the next morning to find a world that looks very different. They soon realize they have slipped through a time portal and traveled back to the year 1777 (2320 B.E.), during the reign of King Taksin the Great.
The students are captured by Burmese soldiers led by a Commander, but they escape using Kamjat’s inventions. They are rescued by a Thai resistance force led by Dok Rak, who takes them back to his village. There, Koh instantly falls in love with a local woman named Boonlai, while the village elder, Thao Hom, prepares for battle against the Burmese.
Using modern knowledge, the students help the villagers develop military strategies and advanced traps. Amidst the tension of war, romance blossoms: Mayuree begins to fall for Kamjat after seeing his genuine care, and even the bickering Osot and Jamnan begin to realize their feelings for one another. After several skirmishes—including a successful raid for supplies—Kamjat discovers that his walkie-talkie still works. He manages to contact Sergeant Thongkon in the present day.
To return home, the group realizes they need a massive explosion to trigger the cave's time portal once more. After a daring raid on the Burmese camp to secure gunpowder, the students prepare to leave. However, Koh decides to stay behind in the past with Boonlai, feeling he has finally found where he belongs. He bids his friends a heartfelt farewell, asking them to tell those in the present that he is happy. With a countdown and a deafening blast, the students are propelled back to the modern era, bringing their miraculous adventure to a safe and successful end.
