Kaew is a poor young girl with a grandmother addicted to gambling. Her mother is in jail for the murder of her stepfather, who tried to rape her. She's grown up in neglect and abuse, forced to make money to sustain her grandmother's habit and support her own education. She does it all; waitressing, handing out flowers, even coyote dancing.
Outside her family, Kaew has Jet, a good close friend who's secretly been in love with her since they were kids; he's her closest confident and will do anything to help her. Another of her close friends is Net, but Net harbours secret feelings of jealousy. When, while working as a server in an ice cream parlor, she meets Phum, a warm and kind businessman, he's immediately Kaew's dream guy, but Kaew mistakenly thinks that Phum already has a family.
Mimi, or Mirin, is a high-class girl who graduates from a foreign country with a rich boyfriend. Mirin becomes Kaew's best friend, helping Kaew in all matters. As Kaew's position in society begins to elevate, she wants to be like Mirin: beautiful, rich, charming, and loved by Everyone. She will do whatever it takes to defeat Mirin, even snatch her lover.
