Sao Noi in the City

The story takes a dramatic turn when New (Chaiyapol Julian Poupart), a city boy who loves the countryside, falls in love with Praew (Focus Jirakul), an innocent country girl. After they get married, New decides to live in the province until they grow old together. However, just before the newlyweds can even enter their bridal chamber, New is abruptly called back to Bangkok. Nu (Ratchanon Suprakob), New's brother who manages the family's Modern Loft style hotel alone, works so hard that he falls ill and is admitted to the ICU. This forces New to temporarily take over the family hotel management, bringing Praew with him to Bangkok because he doesn't want her to worry.
Upon arriving in Bangkok, Praew's innocent cuteness catches the eye of Chris (Nut Devahastin), a program director who is searching for a naturally beautiful model without any plastic surgery for a cream commercial. This lands Praew a modeling gig, with her secretly hoping it will be a way to prove herself, erase her image as a country girl, and become a star worthy of New, her wealthy husband.
She transforms from a country girl into a full-fledged rising star in Bangkok. The prosperity of the city causes her to fall in love with things she has never experienced or imagined. Meanwhile, New feels differently; the more chaos surrounds them, the more he misses the simplicity of the countryside. The more famous Praew becomes, the more apparent the distance between them grows every day. Chris falls in love with Praew, and one day, Chris and Praew lead New to misunderstand that they have something more than just a working relationship. The incident is so severe that New decides to flee back to lick his wounds at their bridal home in the countryside. He realizes that his "Bangkok allergy" has struck him a second time by tearing her away from him.
The "Bangkok allergy" also hurts Praew when a scandal about her erupts in the industry. People begin to shun her, and she discovers that her new high-society friends are insincere, talking behind her back and seeing her as just a country girl trying to polish herself up. One day, the paint peels off, and a country girl is still a country girl. This news is like a mirror reflecting her actions, making Praew wonder how she reached this point. Lonely and unhappy, she decides to return to her hometown to follow her life and the person she loves, New. Will the two of them be able to love each other again?
