Saeng Thian

"Saeng Thian" (Candlelight) by "Praenat" tells the story of "Sibthit," one of the Royal Khon performers who plays the role of "Tosakan" (Ravana), and "Phleng Phin," a young woman who plays "Nang Sida" (Sita). Everyone knows that Tosakan loves Nang Sida unrequitedly. This is no different from Sibthit, who possesses a fierce face, a large stature, and is a nightmare from Phleng Phin's childhood. Yet, in contrast, in Sibthit's heart, Phleng Phin is his first and only love.
Both are dance students at the same institute, and their houses are not far apart. However, due to Sibthit's physical appearance combined with a childhood memory of Phleng Phin getting hurt by him, she avoids him, refuses to get close, and dares not make eye contact. But fate brings them together when "Teacher Rattana" assigns them to be dance partners. Although in the first few days Phleng Phin was afraid, unable to make eye contact, and went as far as asking to change partners, Teacher Rattana asked them to try opening up to each other. It sounds easy, but for Phleng Phin and Sibthit, it is tremendously difficult.
One day, "Pi Phat," Phleng Phin's only younger brother, was attacked by a gang of thugs. Sibthit happened to pass by and went in to manage the situation until the thugs ran away. Phleng Phin arrived just in time to narrowly avoid a misunderstanding, but her younger brother helped explain, changing her perspective. Phleng Phin treated Sibthit's wounds, and the two experienced their first moment of closeness. She realized that, in reality, Sibthit is not as scary as she thought. After that, they opened up to each other more, making their partnership improve to the point of receiving praise from the teacher.
