Synopsis

The story begins with Heng, who has rented this shophouse for nearly 20 years to live in and run a Xiaolongbao (soup dumpling) shop, famous for its god-tier deliciousness. Business is so good that he plans to expand by buying the adjacent unit, which has sat vacant for years. However, just before he can buy it, the landlord rents it out to someone else, infuriating Heng. He declares to his children that they must do everything possible to drive the new tenants away so they cancel their lease.
The new tenant is Kaew Kallaya, a woman from an old noble family that has fallen on hard times. Forced to use her royal culinary skills, she opens a traditional Royal Thai restaurant. She is assisted by Kaew Kannika (or Ying Yai), her eldest daughter. Her middle daughter, Kaew Bussaba (or Ying Lek), is a high school student who is more interested in hanging out with friends; she is feisty and lacks the cooking skills of her older sister. The youngest son, Phruek (or Chai Noi), is clueless in the kitchen and can only help by serving food.
When the Thai restaurant opens right next to the Chinese shop, a "War of Two Nations" erupts. People flock to Kaew Kallaya's Royal Thai cuisine, causing Heng to lose many Xiaolongbao customers. This forces Heng and his children to band together to drive the Thai aristocrats out.
However, Tee Yai (Heng's eldest son) secretly falls in love with Ying Yai at first sight. Ying Yai likes him back but dares not reveal her feelings for fear of her mother. Meanwhile, Tee Lek (Heng's younger son), who attends the same school as Ying Lek, is annoyed by her haughty attitude. He constantly pranks and bothers her both at school and at home, unafraid of Kaew Kallaya, which only fuels the conflict between the two households.
The "War of Two Kitchens" continues alongside daily doses of romance, secrets, and bickering. Neither side is willing to back down, while Tee Yai and Ying Yai try to mend the rift, hoping their love can finally blossom.
Beyond the food war, both Heng and Kaew Kallaya must deal with their children at various ages, who constantly create age-related problems. Sometimes, the two parents inadvertently end up consulting each other for solutions, sympathizing with one another as parents. But the moment the shops open, they return to being enemies.
Who will stay? Who will go? Or will they end up living together? You’ll have to watch to find out!
