The Encounter at the Border

At the border between Chiang Rai and Myanmar, the peace of the deep forest is shattered by a chaotic commotion. It’s not a war, but rather Daonoy, the princess of the Saw-Liah tribe, who is busy pelting mountain duck droppings at Kasidin.
Kasidin is the 27-year-old executive of "Wonderland Event Organizer Co., Ltd." Despite the grand name, the company is tiny, consisting only of himself and his assistant, Yodchai, operating under the ambitious slogan: "Your happiness is our happiness."
Kasidin traveled to the mountains to donate goods to Ngo-Sae, the tribe leader and Daonoy’s father. He did this as a merit-making gesture to land a massive business contract. However, war broke out when Daonoy overheard Kasidin insulting her tribe's way of life. For Daonoy, her tribe’s motto is sacred: "The earth is our father, the water is our mother, and our true friend is the forest."

Misunderstandings and Fate

Though Ngo-Sae eventually mediates the conflict, Kasidin and Daonoy leave with a mutual loathing. Kasidin is disgusted by the "uneducated" girl who covered him in filth, while Daonoy is furious at his elitist attitude.
In the village, things are complicated by Maai, the son of the village shaman who has a secret crush on Daonoy. He is constantly thwarted by Krajong, a flamboyant and quirky member of the tribe who acts as Daonoy’s inseparable best friend.
Seeking revenge before Kasidin leaves, Daonoy sneaks into his car to prick him with a dart coated in "millipede secretions" to knock him out. However, fate intervenes—she accidentally pricks herself and faints inside the vehicle just as Kasidin drives away toward Bangkok.

Chaos in the Capital

Back in Bangkok, Kasidin prepares a grand romantic surprise for his high-society girlfriend, Prim. Prim is the daughter of Prapaisri, a powerful and intimidating local matriarch who owns most of the rental properties and a restaurant in the area. Prapaisri disapproves of Kasidin and prefers Suthat, a wealthy and polished businessman.
In front of reporters and Prim’s family, Kasidin opens his car trunk for a balloon surprise, only to be met by Daonoy’s foot flying into his face! To save face, Kasidin spins a lie to the press: Daonoy is a "lost explorer" from the northern jungles and the star contestant of his new reality show, "Funny Freshy Girl" (FF).

The "Funny Freshy Girl" Project

The project hits a snag when other applicants drop out. To save his career, Kasidin recruits a colorful cast of neighbors to fill the slots:

• Hia Ju: A sharp-tongued massage parlor owner.
• Nui: A shy masseuse from Southern Thailand.
• Mameaw: A sassy masseuse and Hia Ju’s love interest.
• Karaboon: A beautiful Som Tum vendor who is loyal to Phetchay, a loud-mouthed former Likay hero.

With Daonoy as the final "wildcard" contestant, the stage is set for a hilarious fish-out-of-water story. Will Daonoy survive the concrete jungle? Will she find her long-lost brother, Fah Lan, who disappeared in the city years ago? And how will a mountain girl and a city boy ever fall in love?
