Synopsis
The restaurant "Khao & Beer" is owned by a middle-aged married couple: Khao, who serves as the manager, and Beer, who is the chef. However, due to Beer’s countless acts of infidelity, Khao can no longer tolerate it and asks for a divorce. On the day of the divorce, Beer makes various excuses, but once Khao lays out her reasons, he finally agrees.
The story features Sa, Khao’s large-figured female friend who loves meddling in other people's business (especially after her mother passed away). Meanwhile, Beer tries to sabotage the relationship between Khao and Guy (Khao's new boyfriend).
The shop’s staff includes Butter, Khao’s ungrateful nephew who works as a waiter. He frequently skips school and acts out, influenced by Beer’s bad example. Butter is constantly hitting on Yuri, a beautiful waitress, but she likes Champ, a young bartender who is hiding secrets about his ex-girlfriend, Mook. The chaotic staff also includes Pupe (Yuri’s close friend) and the waiter couple "Big-Mouth" Cherry and M, whose interactions cause constant confusion in the shop.
One day, Beer starts dating Teacher Donut, who happens to be Butter's teacher. When Butter creates trouble by skipping school and is on the verge of repeating a grade, Beer consults with Donut and scolds Butter, urging him to study hard. Eventually, Beer breaks up with Donut because he can't stand her controlling nature, while Butter manages to graduate just in time.
Trouble arises when Khun Mai, the landowner, threatens to seize the shop’s land to open a business for her younger brother, Mark. However, Mark falls in love with Khao, so he asks to work at the shop under a disguised identity. Beer discovers the truth but agrees to help keep Mark's secret. Suspicious of Mark, Butter causes trouble by hiding money in Mark's locker to frame him, but Mark anticipates the move and retaliates.
After being scolded by Khao and discovering that Yuri and Champ are secretly dating, a vengeful Butter tries to sabotage Champ. He goes as far as chaining up a vehicle, which results in Mark crashing his car and nearly dying. Beer furiously scolds Butter and forbids him from doing such things again. Meanwhile, Guy breaks up with Khao because he can no longer wait for her. Butter also stirs the pot by revealing to Yuri that Champ's ex, Mook, has a child.
In the televised ending (where the show was cut short): Champ reveals the truth that Mook has a child with a different ex-boyfriend, and he only stayed in contact out of concern. Champ and Yuri reconcile. Sa starts dating Guy. Khao discovers Mark's true identity. Beer and Khao remain good friends.
If the story had continued: Mark gives up on Khao, reveals the truth, apologizes, and resigns to manage his sister's business. He later starts dating Pupe (who still works at the shop), and everyone forgives him.
After graduating, Yuri marries Champ. Butter tries to ruin the wedding despite everyone's warnings. Realizing Butter will definitely cause a scene, Beer calls the police to arrest him. Butter ends up wetting his pants in the middle of the event, creating a hilarious scene for the guests. After the wedding, Butter is bailed out and sent away to live with his grandmother. Beer and Khao continue to run the restaurant together, happy to remain just good friends.
