Synopsis

Sukrob is a man in his early thirties who is perfect in appearance, financial status, and career. His only weakness is his womanizing nature.
Sukrob's family has been close to Sukwan's family since their parents' generation. Consequently, Mrs. Ruedee, Sukrob's mother, engaged Sukwan to be her daughter-in-law when she was just a child. Sukrob and Sukwan were betrothed to the satisfaction of both families before they even understood love. Up until now, they have never met because Sukwan was sent to study abroad at a young age.
Sukwan, though outwardly perfect and flawless, is internally filled with "poison." She is self-centered and refuses to lose to anyone. When she learns she must marry Sukrob, who has a reputation as a Casanova, she plans to refuse. However, upon meeting him for a blind date, she falls in love with his appearance and perfect qualifications, immediately forgetting his reputation. Sukwan is confident that a woman of her caliber—perfect in every way—can certainly defeat Sukrob's other women.
Sukrob feels the same; he is pleased with Sukwan’s beauty and perfection. Moreover, his mother has issued an ultimatum: if he does not marry Sukwan, he will not receive a single baht of his inheritance. After the wedding, Sukrob honors Sukwan as his wife, but marriage cannot change his womanizing habits. He continues to enjoy his Casanova lifestyle with his friends just as before.
Among all the women, the one closest to Sukrob is Pongrutai, the owner of a coffee and flower shop that Sukrob frequents. Pongrutai is sweet, polite, and humble. She is relatively poor and works hard to pay for the treatment of her mother, who suffers from a severe illness.
While outsiders see Sukrob as a bad man, Pongrutai sees a different side of him through their closeness—his warmth and kindness. Knowing she needs money for her mother, Sukrob often finds opportunities to help her financially. To Pongrutai, Sukrob is a benefactor, and his goodness in this regard makes her overlook his other flaws. Besides Pongrutai, Sukrob also has Ivy, a young university student who takes part-time jobs. Their relationship is casual and uncommitted; she is just "dessert" for parties.
Ivy comes from a poor background in the provinces but is beautiful. She has to struggle to support her education, but because she is lazy and dislikes hard work, she chooses to find a rich man to support her. Sukrob knows Ivy is pleading for money, but he doesn't mind; he has enough money to buy happiness without trouble.
Because of her youth, Ivy doesn't think about a serious relationship with Sukrob. Pong (a male friend) watches Ivy and comforts her whenever she has problems with Sukrob. Deep down, he wants her to choose him, but it seems impossible. He accepts his position as the "best friend" just to stay close to her.
After the marriage, although Sukwan is a modern woman, she is hurt like any wife would be. she hopes her goodness and perfection will eventually stop Sukrob’s wandering eye. But when Sukrob’s fun-loving ways don’t decrease, Sukwan goes on the offensive, fully asserting her role as the "Mia Luang" (Main Wife). News of her and Sukrob appears in celebrity gossip columns almost daily to declare her power and ownership of him loud and clear. Sukwan has Sangdao, Sukrob's secretary, report his behavior to her. However, deep down, Sangdao is another woman attracted to Sukrob because she sees the warmth he gives Sukwan. She hopes to be lucky like the other women who get close to him. Sangdao handles tasks for Sukwan, hoping to become Sukrob's favorite, tolerating only Sukwan. If any other woman dares approach Sukrob, Sangdao blocks them immediately without Sukwan lifting a finger.
Pongrutai secretly dates Sukrob, but no matter how quiet they are, Sukwan eventually finds out. It makes it worse when she realizes Sukrob’s relationship with Pongrutai isn't just for fun; it involves a bond and gratitude. Furthermore, Pongrutai is someone Sukrob cherishes—someone even Sukwan cannot touch. This emotional bond displeases Sukwan. She could accept it if it were just a fling, but not a deep connection like this. To end this dangerous relationship, Sukwan must find a way to get rid of Pongrutai.
However, Sukwan's harassment leads to an argument with Sukrob. He explicitly asks her to spare Pongrutai, forbidding Sukwan from messing with her. Sukrob's serious demeanor forces Sukwan to back off, but she doesn't give up. She decides to keep her enemy close by pretending to be kind and offering Pongrutai a job as her personal secretary. This makes Sukrob think he has won. While Pongrutai distrusts Sukwan, she dares not refuse Sukrob and must accept the job, placing her life under Sukwan's constant surveillance.
All these events are watched by Ruedee, Sukrob's mother, who fears losing a good daughter-in-law like Sukwan. She tries to stop her son but fails. The only way to keep Sukwan is for her to have a child. But luck is not on their side; Sukwan does not get pregnant despite not using contraception. A doctor reveals she is sterile. This bad news devastates Sukwan; she has no way to use a child to tie Sukrob down. She decides to keep this secret.
Meanwhile, Sukrob meets Rarin, a sexy rising star model who uses her fame to hunt for prey, knowing her career lifespan is short. She wants to gather as much wealth as possible. Rarin does everything to meet Sukrob, leading to another secret affair. Rarin pretends to be willing to be a mistress, but deep down, she plans to eliminate Sukwan and take the position of the main wife.
The plan to oust the main wife begins with leaking news to the paparazzi. Rarin's appearance causes Sukwan distress again. The scandal affects both families. Sukwan's family demands Sukrob end things with Rarin, but it's not easy. Noticing Sukrob fears his wife, Rarin uses her charms to bind him while staging news to make herself look like the victim of the main wife's bullying and death threats. The scandal spreads across the city, satisfying Rarin.
The scandalous situation humiliates the "perfect" Sukwan. She chooses to handle it with strength, not lowering herself to fight, maintaining her "good wife" status. However, inside, she is heartbroken. For the sake of social appearance, she negotiates with Sukrob: he can be a playboy, but he cannot have an "official" mistress, or she will divorce him. When this threat reaches Ruedee, she openly obstructs Rarin to show Sukwan she is the only accepted daughter-in-law.
Rarin wants to be the main wife, while Pongrutai wants to protect Sukrob. Amidst the tension, Sukrob seeks solace with Pongrutai. He feels safe with her. This makes Rarin jealous; she doesn't want to lose to Pongrutai and tries to pull Sukrob back.
Sukrob becomes obsessively infatuated with Rarin, neglecting his work. His strange behavior makes Pongrutai suspicious. She suspects black magic. Sukwan is heartbroken by Sukrob's changes but hides it behind a tough exterior. Pongrutai contacts Sukwan to share her suspicions that Sukrob has been charmed (via black magic). Out of concern, Sukwan seeks a solution with Pongrutai’s help.
They follow him and discover the truth about the love spell. They work together to break the spell before his life is ruined. Once free, Sukrob returns to his old self. Upon realizing what Rarin did, he cuts ties with her completely, making her furious. Sukrob tries to atone by pleasing Sukwan and trying for a baby. The failed attempts force Sukwan to reveal her secret: she is sterile. If there is anyone Sukwan trusts to carry a child for them, it is Pongrutai. Sukwan asks Pongrutai to be a surrogate. Pongrutai accepts willingly to repay Sukrob's kindness.
The surrogacy begins amidst hope for everyone except Rarin. Sukrob grows bored and distant from the troublesome Rarin, focusing entirely on Pongrutai, the surrogate mother. Rarin plots to make Pongrutai miscarry. She tricks Pongrutai into an appointment by pretending to be Sukwan. Pongrutai is almost beaten by Thanwa to force a miscarriage but narrowly escapes. After this terrifying event, she doesn't tell Sukwan or Sukrob to avoid worrying them. Instead, she disappears to protect their child. Her disappearance worries everyone. Meanwhile, Rarin and Thanwa hunt for her without success. During this time, the chaos pulls Sukrob away from his party friends and Ivy.
Ivy runs into financial trouble as clients stop hiring her. Pong (her male friend) tries to help, but it's not enough for her high tastes. She tries to contact Sukrob. This reaches Rarin, who claims ownership of Sukrob, but Ivy doesn't care. A fierce battle for Sukrob ensues between Rarin and Ivy.
While the war for the husband rages, Pongrutai hides in Chiang Mai and meets Chayodom, a young doctor providing her prenatal care. To cut off problems, she lies that her husband died. The lie garners sympathy from the doctor, who falls for her sweet nature, though he knows he shouldn't love her as she (supposedly) had a husband. Pongrutai hides the surrogacy to stay safe from Rarin. Although she has feelings for Chayodom, she suppresses them, feeling she is tainted and unworthy of him.
The vicious fight between Rarin and Ivy takes a toll on Sukwan. Sukrob cannot stop them. Finally, Sukwan loses patience and threatens divorce again. A divorce would cost Sukrob his reputation and inheritance, so he must fight to save the marriage.
Cutting off Rarin makes her misunderstand that he chose Ivy. Fueled by rage, she hits Ivy with a car, causing Ivy to lose a leg and become disabled, ending her beauty-selling career. However, Pong (the male friend) does not abandon Ivy; he cares for her. Ivy attempts suicide multiple times, but Pong stops her, promising never to leave. Driven by revenge, Ivy tells Pong that if he takes revenge for her, she will stop trying to kill herself. Pong has no choice; he follows Rarin and throws acid on her. Rarin is disfigured and goes insane, ending up in a mental institution.
Although the external problems are gone, Sukwan no longer trusts Sukrob. She insists on divorcing him, believing he will never change. Sukrob tries repeatedly to reconcile but fails. Discouraged and cut off from his inheritance, he returns to the world of a Casanova.
This time, Sukrob spirals out of control, drinking and sleeping around so heavily that even his friends are worried and eventually leave him. Isolated, disappointed, and disinherited, Sukrob is ruined.
Sukwan watches but tries to stay hard-hearted, believing he will just repeat his mistakes. Despite family intervention, she insists on divorce. News of the divorce and Sukrob’s behavior reaches Pongrutai, who is near her due date. The stress causes her to go into premature labor. Sukrob may be a villain to others, but he has always been good to her. To repay him one last time, she decides to act.
Pongrutai sends a message to Sukwan, lying that she is still pregnant and threatening to have an abortion if Sukwan does not give Sukrob a chance to redeem himself. Terrified of losing the baby, Sukwan has no choice but to give Sukrob another chance. Sukrob promises never to make Sukwan sad again. Pongrutai then returns with the baby and hands the child over to the couple.
Sukwan, Sukrob, and their little child live together, starting a new life. Meanwhile, Pongrutai returns to Doctor Chayodom, tells him the whole truth, and they quietly marry, bound by the love they have always had for each other.
