Synopsis
Four young men with four different professions once firmly believed that life would be worthwhile if they were handsome, fabulously wealthy, and adored by beautiful women. But in the end, they discover that such fortune is meaningless if life lacks true love from that special someone. (Channel 3)
In the restless metropolis, everyone moves forward, rushing toward a seemingly more prosperous life. Those with better education often reach their goals faster. However, for an artistic soul like Vayu, things are different. Though he has little formal education, his natural good looks and silver tongue give him an advantage over others, especially when it comes to winning the hearts of beautiful women.
This is the story of the "Handsome-by-Choice Gang," consisting of four handsome but poor young men: Mekha, Vayu, Ratchata, and Phirun.
Mekha targets Khun Pim, the beautiful daughter of the owner of the country's largest textile and sports equipment company. Mekha disguises himself as a down-to-earth "high-so" (high society) gentleman to get a job at her company. He faces the full force of her temper until he almost gives up. However, events take a turn when Mekha changes his heart, becoming a good person and helping Pim save her company from villains. Pim begins to feel good about Mekha and starts to like him. Just as things are going well, Seki, Pim’s fiancé, returns and tries to obstruct their love. He digs up dirt until he exposes Mekha’s true identity to Pim: he is a fake millionaire who is actually just an ordinary Likay dancer. When the truth is revealed, Pim is furious and hates Mekha for deceiving her.
Vayu, the playboy, chooses Alisa, Thailand's number one superstar actress, as his target, unaware that she is a flower already owned by someone else. Vayu accidentally stumbles into the entertainment industry and becomes a popular new actor. However, his relationship with his father sinks while his relationship with Alisa progresses further than anyone else's, to the point of marriage. Songpol, Alisa's manager, uses Father's Day to expose Vayu to the public, revealing that he is merely the son of a ferry boat operator, not the yacht owner he claimed to be. Vayu accepts his fate and walks away from Alisa to care for his father, seeking to amend his wrongs. Alisa, unable to accept the reality, flees from her superstar life and goes into hiding.
Ratchata, the creative programmer, becomes infatuated with Khun Ham, the daughter of an amusement park owner. They develop a romance and encourage one another, completely unaware that they are actually falling in love in the online world, revealing their feelings without ever seeing each other's faces.
Phirun, the ultimate trickster, tries to chase his own dream. He chooses a beautiful model as his stepping stone to success. He almost ends up happily ever after, but has a change of heart and falls for a swindler named Ladda. She poses as a boutique owner, but in reality, she is just an employee who—just like him—planned to use Phirun as a stepping stone for her own dreams.
All four men must face chaos in their hearts, life twists, business schemes, and various obstacles from the people around them. What will guide these four through their problems? Let's cheer for them and see if true love can bloom from deception.
