Synopsis

Lanta (Peeranee "Matt" Kongthai) seems to be at the peak of her life. She is about to be promoted to editor of a women's magazine, and her relationship with Anuchit (Adisorn Athakrit), a handsome executive, is progressing beautifully, with the support of her best friends and colleagues, Tanyares (Arisara Thongborisut) and Pat (Jessica Pasaphan). However, Lanta's dreams are shattered in an instant when Onkajee (Natalie Davis), Anuchit's wife, storms into the company to announce her status and physically attacks Lanta. Humiliated and furious, Lanta resigns, and her perfect life vanishes in the blink of an eye.
To make matters worse, as Lanta drives home, she discovers a box containing a six-month-old baby abandoned under her car. Terrified of bringing the baby home to her strict Grandmother Malai (Duangta Tungkamanee), she takes "Ta Noo" (Baby Trey) to the condo of Sipadan (Warintorn "Great" Panhakarn), a charming pilot and her best friend. Sipadan insists she take the baby to the police, but Lanta, fearing for the child's safety, begs to keep him at the condo. She lies to her grandmother that she is working upcountry to buy time. Co-parenting with Sipadan proves difficult as the baby cries constantly, but they receive help from their kind neighbors, Paul (Thanakrit "Wan" Panichwid) and Mink (Jarinporn "Toey" Joonkiat)—a university junior who once interned with Lanta—along with Pat.
Lanta drags Sipadan to Chiang Mai after finding a clue about the person who abandoned the baby. They are joined by Pat and Keerati (Gosin Ratchakrome), Sipadan's friend who secretly has a crush on Lanta. They stay at the home of Grandmother Nuan (Duangjai Hathaikarn), Sipadan’s grandmother, and Inthanon (Santi Santiwetchakul), Sipadan's father. There, they encounter Euangkham (Tassawan Seneewongse) and Manow (Pattrin Jiarasuk), Sipadan's ex-girlfriend. Despite knowing Sipadan chose Lanta over her, Manow tries to rekindle their romance, creating a chaotic love triangle.
The investigation becomes dangerous as the mastermind behind the abandonment hires hitmen to silence the person who left the baby in Lanta's car. The group gets lost in the forest while chasing the culprits, eventually returning to Bangkok empty-handed. Back home, Lanta studies childcare books like a real mother, while Sipadan reluctantly plays the father figure. This shared responsibility draws them closer, and Sipadan, who has secretly loved Lanta for years, begins to reveal his true feelings.
Just as their romance begins to blossom, complications arise with the arrival of Pithan (Jason Young). He appears as the owner of a new magazine where Lanta becomes editor, a joint venture with Suwipa (Surattana Khongtrakul) and Ratchanee (Supranee Charoenpol). Pithan, Lanta's ex-boyfriend from university, has returned with the specific goal of winning her back. He had previously broken up with her because he knew her heart truly belonged to Sipadan, but now he is determined to defeat his rival. Pithan conspires with Manow and Tanyares to drive a wedge between the couple. They reveal to Grandma Malai that Sipadan and Lanta are living together at the condo, sending the strict grandmother into a rage.
Sipadan, along with his father and Grandma Nuan, goes to apologize to Grandma Malai, taking responsibility by asking for Lanta's hand in marriage. However, the stubborn Grandma Malai refuses. She allows Pithan to bring his Aunt Wan (Prissana Klampinij) to make a competing marriage proposal. Under immense pressure, Lanta reluctantly agrees to become engaged to Pithan.
How will the chaotic love story of Sipadan and Lanta unfold? And what does the future hold for little Ta Noo?
Find out in "Rak Tong Om," airing Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:15 PM on Thai TV Channel 3. The drama premieres on Sunday, August 17, 2014.
