Synopsis
The Special Investigation Bureau reopens a high-profile case. Captain Phai (Rome Patchata) and Captain Phat (Aun Witaya), a police duo, lead the team to solve a murder mystery alongside "Jay" Vicky (Benz Pornchita), the relentless office boss. She constantly clashes with View (Alex Rendell), a younger male officer. Joining them are interns including Radklao (Mew Laknara), Vicky's younger sister; Yodchai (Ron Patarapon); and Muratha (Rocha Monisicha). The team must find evidence as Phetchada (Joy Rinlanee) firmly believes her brother, MP Aphimook (Tanongsak Supakan), was murdered. The prime suspect is the middle brother, Aphiwat (Pholawat Manuprasert), who desperately needs the inheritance to sustain his failing business and the high-society lifestyle of his wife, Marisa (Por Sikanya). Phai leads the team to re-interrogate everyone in the house and notices suspicious behavior from the sister-in-law, Sirirat (Kwankao Karnpitcha).
Phai feels a special connection with Radklao at first sight, but Radklao strongly dislikes him. Strangely, whenever their bodies touch, both Phai and Radklao feel a sharp, stabbing pain in their chests. The pain is so severe that Radklao faints and wakes up to find herself in the ancient city of Sri Phitsaya. Vicky dismisses it as nonsense that her sister could have slipped into a thousand-year-old past.
The interrogation stalls because Phetchada refuses to cooperate, which infuriates Phat. Vicky, however, sides with Phat on everything because she is infatuated with him. View constantly warns Vicky out of genuine concern, but Vicky simply assumes View is jealous of Captain Phat's competence. While Phai and Radklao are searching for a new witness, a mysterious man named Narasingha (Johnny Anfone) appears. Phai and Radklao feel an intense, inexplicable hatred toward him, whereas Vicky and View feel as though they have known Narasingha for a very long time. Narasingha pulls the four of them in and hypnotizes them, sending everyone back to the past so they can witness the karma that has intertwined their fates for a millennium.
In Sri Phitsaya, a kingdom as peaceful and cool as the moonlight, Lord Pranma (Dom Hetrakul) is facing an impending invasion from King Narasingha Sihabadee (Johnny Anfone), a conqueror whose power burns as fiercely as the sun. Narasingha's dark army is led by two key figures: the bloodthirsty female general Sihasa (Benz Pornchita) and Sulewin (Alex Rendell), a blind young priest with clairvoyance. Narasingha wants to raze the small city of Sri Phitsaya to the ground, but Sulewin warns him not to attack on the night of worshipping Phra Peng (the full moon god), as the sin of disrespecting the deity will bring absolute ruin.
At the same time, Sri Phitsaya is torn by internal conflict. Lady Inya (Joy Rinlanee) wants her son, Lord Pansang (Aun Witaya), to be king instead of his half-brother, Lord Pranma. Inya and Pansang plot to eliminate Lord Pranma and his younger sister, Lady Chantathevi (Yaiya Warintladda), and especially their main rival, Maranma (Mew Laknara), another daughter of the Lord of Sri Phitsaya. However, Maranma is protected by her lover, General Tissa (Rome Patchata). This drives Inya and Pansang to use every trick available to force Maranma into marrying Lord Saengmin (Big Sarut). Inya almost succeeds when Maranma is tricked into cutting ties with Tissa, but Lord Pranma intervenes and officially gives Maranma to be Tissa's bride. Furious and humiliated, Inya and Pansang swear to destroy everyone who insulted their honor.
Back in the present, no one believes the thousand-year-old visions Narasingha showed them. Phai actively resists Narasingha, causing a deeper rift with Radklao, who firmly believes Narasingha is telling the truth. Phat finally finds enough evidence to send Aphiwat to prison for murdering his brother for the inheritance. However, a new witness emerges: Kaewkla (Fernando) insists he heard a woman arguing with Aphimook right before the fatal gunshot. As everyone scrambles to find Kaewkla, he is murdered to keep him quiet. The case, which was on the verge of being closed, plunges back into darkness.
Radklao and View believe Narasingha's claim that the killer is a woman, but Phai stubbornly argues against it, blinded by his deep-seated hatred for Narasingha. Phat decides to arrest Aphiwat to quickly close the case. Seeing this, Narasingha is forced to take everyone back to the thousand-year past once more so they can witness the full consequences of their karmic actions.
In the past, Narasingha's army attacks Sri Phitsaya but is halted by the protective power of Phra Peng, which acts as an impenetrable barrier around the city. Narasingha bypasses this by secretly sending Sihasa in as a spy. Inya and Pansang, whose minds are consumed by greed and envy, agree to cooperate with the enemy, committing high treason against their own homeland. Meanwhile, Sulewin infiltrates the sacred temple and discovers that Sri Phitsaya's protection is tethered to the souls of Tissa and Chantathevi. Narasingha devises an inhumanly cruel method to break Tissa's strong spirit. Little Lady Dara (Jessie), the young daughter of Tissa and Maranma, becomes the victim of Narasingha's ruthless scheme. Maranma is heartbroken as she watches her daughter fall deathly ill. Narasingha offers the antidote, but only on the condition that Tissa betrays Lord Pranma. Maranma begs Tissa to save their child's life, but Tissa steadfastly refuses to betray his country.
Maranma's crushing disappointment in her lover quickly turns into bitter hatred. With the help of Inya and Pansang, Sihasa leads the enemy army inside, completely reducing Sri Phitsaya to ashes. Having finally set foot on Sri Phitsaya's soil, Narasingha arrogantly mocks and challenges Phra Peng. It is at this moment that Narasingha learns that no earthly power is greater than the divine. Phra Peng (Preeyanuch Panpradub) descends and curses Narasingha to live eternally for thousands of years, enduring the agonizing, burning pain of hellfire every full moon night until every single soul that died tragically under his command grants him forgiveness.
In the present, Phai, Radklao, Vicky, View, Phat, and Phetchada finally learn the truth of the past karma they committed together. Narasingha, bearing his eternal punishment, hopes only for their forgiveness. However, the profound loss and thousands of years of burning resentment are not easily washed away. Will Narasingha ever be freed from Phra Peng's curse? And how will the karmic cycle of Phai, Radklao, Phet, Phat, Vicky, and View finally be resolved?
