Synopsis

"Even Daeng Bailey has to hide... Pu Raboutkhuat (Molotov Cocktail) has to retreat... Not because they met some legendary superhero, But because they met a young girl who isn't beautiful, rich, or smart—but one thing is certain: she's incredibly lucky. She possesses a special power to foresee events. And she also knows that... anyone who watches this drama will be thrilled and laughing out loud At her bizarre missions and her team of bodyguards." ....................................................................................
Namwan (Apa Bhavilai) is an incredibly ordinary girl—not stunningly beautiful but not ugly either, with average wealth and absolutely no special talents. So why such a grand introduction? Let's find out. Namwan is the only daughter of the Chao Por Pern Shrine, run by Pern (Chalermporn Pumpanwong), her cunning father whom the locals respect as a "godfather" (Chao Por). Wait, not a mafia godfather! In this context, it means a medium with magical powers to foresee all events. Pern is seen as a pillar of the community whom everyone treats with deference. However, the only person Pern defers to is Chao Mae Rerai, Namwan’s beautiful mother. She is called "Chao Mae" (Goddess/Medium) because at the shrine, she and Pern take turns relieving the villagers' suffering and promoting their happiness—especially near lottery days, when the couple barely sleeps because they have to hint at winning numbers for the locals. Inside the shrine, there is also Uncle Thong (Nong Chernyim), the temple lay warden and Pern's older brother, who acts as a tout inviting people to perform bad-luck exorcisms. Another member is Mai (Tawin Kunaratanawat), the house servant. Mai is actually an orphan temple boy whom Pern adopted because he saw potential in the boy’s cunning nature to be useful at the shrine.
Namwan doesn't really like her family's profession—not because she's ashamed, but because she doesn't want Pern and Rerai to deceive the villagers day after day. She knows her parents have no magical powers; they just know how to pinpoint people's misery. In modern terms, it’s just "mentalism." But every time she tells them to quit, they argue that this job is what raised her and paid for her education. Pern and Rerai often question if she's really their child or the child of Hia Soy (Sombat Kajornchaikul), the owner of a religious supply store who hates the shrine. Since Pern opened his shrine, people go to him for exorcisms instead of buying offering buckets from Hia Soy, causing him to constantly pick fights. Another person losing income is Ratsamee, known locally as Mimi (Sirilapas Kongtrakarn), a traditional dancer whom the villagers would love to kick (perform a Muay Thai dance on) because of her sharp tongue and gossip-queen habits. The only person Mimi yields to is Prakam (Monthon Surawittham), a provocative temple boy who is respected even by the temple dogs.
Despite conflicts in the community, nothing serious ever happened... until one day. If only Pern and Rerai had listened to Namwan and quit their medium business, their lives wouldn't have been turned upside down after a man stepped into the shrine!
The man wanted Pern and Rerai to find something his younger brother had lost—something very important. Pern and Rerai looked at each other, unsure because they aren't actually skilled at this (how could they be? They have no real magic!). But they accepted the job because the man offered a reward that looked to be at least a hundred thousand baht. Pern told the man to return in three days, claiming he needed time to meditate (in reality, he planned to hire a private detective).
Chaos ensues when Namwan, walking back from the market, overhears the man on the phone. She is shocked to learn that he is a bank robber wanted by the police. The item he hired her father to find is a bag containing tens of millions of baht that his brother hid before being killed by police in an extrajudicial killing. Namwan tries to leave, but the man spots her. He chases her to silence the witness. Namwan runs for her life but trips on a wooden bridge crossing a canal and falls into the water. As she sinks, the man shoots into the water. Luckily, villagers arrive, forcing the man to flee.
Namwan drowns and stops breathing for ten minutes—essentially, she dies. Pern and Rerai cry their hearts out, but then Namwan miraculously revives. Everyone's shock turns to joy. Namwan is confused about how she came back to life after ten minutes, but hey, being alive is good enough.
Namwan tells her parents that the man is a bank robber. They realize they've brought trouble upon themselves. Pern thinks hard and decides that when the robber returns, he will bravely return the deposit money. Namwan hopes this will end well.
After reviving from death, Namwan feels like she is being followed by a man and a woman (not the robber). She assumes they are the robber's accomplices. Using her local knowledge, she escapes them. The appointment day arrives. Pern confesses he doesn't know where the item is and returns the money. The robber is furious because Pern accidentally mentions the hidden cash. He prepares to kill everyone to silence them. Namwan jumps in to stop him. The moment she looks at the robber's face, visions of the robbery, the escape route, and the hidden money pop into her head like never before. Just as the robber is about to pull the trigger, Namwan shouts that she knows where the money is hidden.
Under the canal bridge, Namwan tells the robber that his brother tied the money to a wooden stake hidden by water hyacinths. The robber forces Mai to dive down and retrieve it, threatening to kill everyone if it's not there. Miraculously, Mai finds the bag of money. The robber is delighted but then turns his gun on them to eliminate witnesses. Namwan is terrified. Just as he is about to shoot, the mysterious man and woman appear, save them, and defeat the robber, who is then arrested. The mysterious duo vanishes without a trace, leaving Namwan puzzled as she thought they were with the robber.
Pern and Rerai are amazed that Namwan knew the hiding spot. She says the vision just appeared. Her parents are ecstatic, thinking she can be another medium, but Namwan quickly flees the idea.
However, Namwan is stunned when she meets the mysterious man and woman again. She tries to run, but they reveal the truth. The man is Police Captain Komkrit (Kantapong Bamrungrak), a Crime Suppression Division officer selected for a secret national mission. His superior, Pol. Maj. Ekayuth (Oliver Beaver), didn't explain the mission, only ordering him to protect a woman named Namwan. This puzzles Komkrit and Sergeant Kaew (Tong Chuanchuen), his senior partner known for his honest nature. Even Pol. Capt. Chanasuek, Komkrit's eternal rival who loves taking credit, wants to know why Namwan is so important.
The truth is revealed by Adele Thapsaon (Rathakorn Satiraboot), a half-American, half-Surin agent from a secret scientific organization. She was assigned to protect Namwan because a U.S. supercomputer predicted that Namwan is the woman who will save the world from evil forces. Namwan has a special ability to see the past and future. Hearing this, Namwan faints on the spot.
Namwan wakes up the next day hoping it was all a dream about saving the world. But she is stunned to see Adele opening a Buddha amulet stall in front of the temple near her house, while Komkrit opens a coffee shop near her shrine. The two approach her and hand her the first mission: to find a spy from a transnational terrorist group planning sabotage in Thailand! How will the story unfold? Stay tuned...
