The Protagonists
The Turning Point While looking for a new job, Setthi saves an elderly woman from a mugger. She offers him money, but he refuses. She forces him to accept a set of lottery tickets instead. To everyone's shock, he wins the first prize. However, his honest father tells him to return the money to the old woman because she is the true owner. The old woman turns out to be Khun Narumon, a multi-millionaire. Deeply moved by Setthi's honesty, she hires him to manage her business and adopts him as her grandson. She also tasks him with finding her real granddaughter, who was kidnapped as a baby 20 years ago. This angers Petcharee, Narumon's current adopted daughter, who fears losing her inheritance.
The Conflict
The Ending Although injured, Fahsai asks Setthi to take her back to the wedding instead of the hospital because she wants to see him and her grandmother (Narumon) happy. She finally confesses her love to Setthi. He kisses her cheek and promises to take care of her and her grandmother for the rest of his life.
- Setthi: A handsome, honest, and kind young man from a modest family. He lives with his father, Sakda, and his older brother, Settha. While Setthi struggles to find a job after graduation (often being mocked by his brother), his father encourages him to remain virtuous. He eventually gets a job as a messenger at a company where the manager, Somyin, takes a liking to him.
- Fahsai: A beautiful, polite, and grateful young woman. She is actually the adopted daughter of Khun Ying Saisamon and General Chatchawan, having been abandoned at their doorstep as a baby. After Saisamon had her own biological daughter, Suangsuda, she began to neglect and even hate Fahsai, especially since Fahsai grew up to be more beautiful and attention-grabbing than her own daughter.

- The Secret Revealed: Narumon encounters Juang, the woman who kidnapped her granddaughter years ago. Juang confesses that she abandoned the baby at a rich person's house to escape the police. Setthi investigates and realizes that house belongs to Khun Ying Saisamon—meaning Fahsai is the missing heiress.
