Synopsis

Kamnan Burutchart (Note - Watcharabul Leesuwan) is a new-generation, visionary sub-district headman of Tambon Thang Suea Phan. He is determined to develop his local community, following the same ideals as his late father, who left him a massive inheritance. Because of his wealth, good looks, and status, Kamnan Burutchart becomes the most eligible bachelor, highly sought after by young women, older ladies, and even the local widows.
Burutchart works closely with his trusted assistant and Kamnan inspector, Nai Klui (Hem - Hemmawat Nittayaros), who is highly knowledgeable in agriculture. Klui is secretly in love with Nu Wanwaew (Manao - Sornsin Maneewan), the daughter of District Chief Sawaeng (Parin Wikran). Wanwaew is a young woman completely obsessed with Korean culture—from music and fashion to hair and food. She has a huge crush on Kamnan Burutchart, fully supported by her mother, Khun Nai Ruenwajee (Kob - Papassara Teychapaiboon). Her mother constantly schemes to get Wanwaew close to the Kamnan, believing her daughter only deserves someone wealthy, famous, and of high social standing.
Meanwhile, Banjai (Tubtim - Anyarin Terathananpat) is a bold, tomboyish, and outspoken young woman who graduated from a vocational college with a degree in mechanics. Her dream is to open her own tractor repair shop. She has a mischievous younger brother named Bueak (Bogus - Theerathan Kajorndecha-wat) who always helps her out and joins her in fighting for justice in Thang Suea Phan. Banjai fiercely clashes with Nai Dang (Khet - Tarakhet Phetsuksai), the spoiled son of Village Headman Yomdoi (Moo - Kolas Atthaseree). Dang likes to act like the local neighborhood thug.
One day, Banjai and Dang cross paths at the "Soi Sawan Restaurant," owned by Soi Sawan (May - Bundita Thanawiset). A massive, uncompromising brawl breaks out between the two, resulting in the total destruction of the restaurant. Furious, Soi Sawan orders Nai Waeng (Prab Yuttapichai) to demand hundreds of thousands of baht in damages from Banjai’s parents: Nang Boek (Tom - Rachaneekorn Phanmanee) and Nai Hoi (Jib - Chalermporn). Her parents nearly faint when they hear about the disaster Banjai and Bueak caused.
Following the brawl, Soi Sawan Restaurant becomes as quiet as a graveyard because customers are too afraid of getting caught in the crossfire to even walk past it. Running a restaurant is full of unseen problems: waitresses give customers attitude out of jealousy, singers constantly get pregnant (often by the musicians), and the arrogant chef cooks based purely on her mood. Fed up with the endless issues, Soi Sawan issues a challenge to Banjai: Banjai must take over the restaurant's management for three months. If she can run it without going bankrupt and use the profits to pay off the damages, she's clear. However, if she fails, her family's farmland will be immediately confiscated by Soi Sawan.
Thus, "Suan Aharn Banjai" (Banjai's Garden Restaurant) is miraculously pieced together in just three days with a highly unconventional staff. Her father, who is only used to herding buffaloes, becomes the receptionist. Her mother, whose culinary expertise is limited to simple chili paste and boiled vegetables, becomes the head chef. Her troublesome brother, Bueak, is forced to be a waiter. Banjai also tracks down Ramjan (Aom - Prathamaporn Rattanapakdee), a sexy former country singer who had hung up her microphone, and Nai Choed (AA - Punyapon Dejsong), a flirtatious, indie-style former musician and Ramjan's ex-boyfriend, to provide live music. Finally, Ja Dap (Kluay Chernyim) is hired as the restaurant's security guard.
The restaurant opens chaotically and operates in utter confusion, with the entire village gossiping that Banjai is just leading her family to ruin.
Meanwhile, Wanwaew continues to aggressively pursue Kamnan Burutchart, though the smart and composed headman only politely entertains her out of respect for her father. At the same time, Soi Sawan also sets her sights on the Kamnan. Poor Klui remains hopelessly in love with Wanwaew, but she completely overlooks him, seeing him as nothing more than a lowly country official.
Despite the odds, Banjai's sheer determination and her innovative concept of serving delicious, health-conscious Thai food packed with local herbs make the restaurant a massive, widespread success. Her unique and quirky management style unintentionally turns Kamnan Burutchart into a regular customer.
The young, developmental headman—who usually has a perfect plan for his work, his life, and his dedication to helping his villagers live debt-free and self-sufficiently—finds that life doesn't always go according to plan. Meeting the fierce owner of the garden restaurant throws him off balance. The ultimate master planner must now figure out a strategy to conquer Banjai's heart. And as for Banjai, who is so focused on managing her restaurant, will she be able to manage her own heart?
Tune in to find out in... Suan Aharn Banjai!
