Visanee (Patchrapa Chaichua), the only daughter of Amnuay (Sathaporn Nakwilai), the owner of a giant automobile company, returns from abroad with the intention of stopping the wedding between her father and Kornkaew (Daran Boonyasak). Visanee humiliates Kornkaew by hiring sexy dancers to perform at the event, causing Kornkaew to lose face. Furious, Amnuay summons Visanee to reprimand her. Visanee announces she will not go back to her studies and will stay home. Kornkaew decides to fulfill her role as a stepmother as best as she can, even though she knows chaos will follow.
Visanee takes Kornkaew's car to visit Waew (Ratchaneekorn Phanmanee), her biological mother. On the way, her car gets a flat tire and grazes the car of Arum (Akkaphan Namart) and Detchart (Kantapong Bamrungrak). Seeing Visanee lost and assuming she is from the countryside, the two men help take her to Waew's house. Overjoyed, she offers to treat them to a meal in return, but she only has foreign currency in her wallet. Arum ends up paying for the meal instead. Visanee leaves her ring with him as collateral and promises to find the money to pay him back soon.
Upon returning, Visanee is scolded by Amnuay for taking the car and assumes Kornkaew snitched on her. The next day, she drives Kornkaew's car again to find Arum but sees him with Nontalee (Morakot Kittisara), so she heads back. On the way, she runs into Detchart. Visanee asks Detchart to take her sightseeing around Bangkok, walking through markets and eating street-side noodles. However, a brawl breaks out among teenagers, forcing the two to flee for their lives. After escaping, they promise to be best friends.
When Amnuay hears about this, he scolds Visanee again and forces her to work at his company, even though she insists she hasn't graduated in anything. Visanee is delighted to find Arum and Detchart at the company. She interns with Arum, Nontalee, and Kusuma (Puniyaporn Poonpipat). Nontalee immediately dislikes Visanee and feels increasingly uneasy seeing her close to Arum. Nontalee acts highly possessive of him. Finding it amusing, Visanee playfully provokes them, causing Nontalee and Arum to argue.
Waew is pleased when she learns Visanee is working at the company. She introduces Yothin (Kornsek Konin) to Visanee, unaware that he is a bad person. Visanee pays no attention to Yothin, and her relationship with Arum improves. The two share their personal stories with each other. Arum understands Visanee's family problems and shares his own personal life, including his future plans with Nontalee.
Meanwhile, Nontalee grows more jealous of Arum. Kusuma encourages Nontalee to see other men to make Arum jealous. Nontalee acts out by going out with Yothin, eventually making the mistake of sleeping with him, which Kusuma catches. Yothin is quick to act and dumps Nontalee first. Nontalee begs Kusuma to keep it a secret. Kusuma pretends to agree, calmly waiting for the right moment to expose her to Arum.
Nontalee returns to Arum. Realizing he is starting to develop feelings for Visanee, Arum decides to ask Nontalee to marry him to end the complications. However, Nontalee finds the ring Visanee had left with him and misunderstands that Arum is leaving her. She storms over to confront Visanee, slapping her in the middle of the office without caring about anyone watching, and announces her upcoming marriage to Arum. In response, Visanee slips out a question about Nontalee and Yothin's relationship.
Paranoid, Nontalee arranges to meet Yothin to ensure he keeps their secret. Meanwhile, Visanee is deeply hurt after Amnuay calls her in to scold her about office romance in front of the entire company. She recklessly speeds off in her car through the heavy rain, failing to notice Nontalee rushing to meet Yothin. Visanee tries to brake, but the slippery road causes the car to violently crash into Nontalee right in front of Detchart and other employees. Arum rushes to cradle Nontalee's bloodied body, crying unashamedly. Visanee is stunned, never having intended to become a murderer, and faints from shock.
While Visanee is in the hospital, Kornkaew runs around trying to take responsibility for Nontalee's family and Arum. However, Arum submits his resignation and hires a lawyer to sue Visanee for intentional murder, with Kusuma fully backing him as a witness. Visanee begs Detchart to take her to pay respects to Nontalee's body, but she is rudely chased away.
After the accident, Visanee falls into depression. Only Detchart truly understands her. Yothin takes this opportunity to play the knight in shining armor, hiring a top-tier lawyer to fight her case, which makes him Amnuay's favorite. Visanee is not happy about winning the case because she becomes the subject of gossip among Kornkaew's high-society friends. Losing her patience, Visanee lashes out and curses at Kornkaew's friends, scattering them, and directs her anger at Amnuay as well. Amnuay slaps Visanee hard. Deeply hurt, Visanee moves in with Waew, only to be chased away and scolded for not staying to be a thorn in Kornkaew's side. Visanee realizes she is nothing more than a tool for Waew's revenge against Kornkaew.
Visanee swallows her pride and goes to apologize to Arum, but he remains completely indifferent, planning to start a new life in the provinces to forget the past. Visanee asks to go with him, but he kicks her out of his house. As Arum is preparing to leave Bangkok, he spots Visanee sitting in the rain by a trash can, almost getting dragged away by a drunkard. Arum lets Visanee into his car, and they head south together.
Arum goes to stay at the beach house of Wirot (Parinya Wirotsaengprateep), where Wirot's caretaker, Chai, welcomes them warmly. Arum treats Visanee heartlessly, harboring deep resentment against her for killing his lover. Visanee, however, patiently accepts his harsh treatment. Kusuma reveals herself and tries to pursue Arum but is disappointed when she finds he has moved away. Kusuma and Detchart try to search for him but have no clues. Amnuay is also actively searching for Visanee.
Arum begins a new life as a fisherman, completely ignoring Visanee's well-being. He even intentionally disappears for days, leaving her in an empty house without any food. Waew [Note: The Thai text says Waew here, though contextually it may refer to someone else helping her survive] cannot bear it and secretly shares food to help her survive. One day, Arum gets into an accident, falling off his boat and getting hit by an anchor, knocking him unconscious. Visanee nurses him all night until she falls ill herself. Once Arum recovers, he treats Visanee better and opens his heart to forgive her.
Kusuma finds out Arum's location from Wirot, follows him there, and constantly brings up the past to remind Arum of Nontalee. Unable to stand it, Arum asks Kusuma to leave. Kusuma then tells Yothin that Visanee is with Arum. Amnuay and Yothin come to take Visanee back, but she refuses to return. Chai helps Visanee and Arum hide on an offshore island. While Arum is looking for shelter, Visanee is bitten by a snake in his place. Ashamed of the vengeance he had been holding onto, Arum decides to let go of the past completely. The two finally understand each other. Arum confesses his love to Visanee with a small group of villagers acting as witnesses, and they are happy.
However, hallucinations of Nontalee enter Arum's mind once again. He gets drunk and berates Visanee over the same old issues. Realizing that Arum will never truly forgive her, Visanee flees the island without telling him. She has Detchart pick her up and temporarily stays at his house. But Yothin finds her first and takes her back home.
Arum searches for Visanee and, upon learning she has returned home, follows her there and announces to everyone that she is his wife. Displeased, Amnuay declares that Visanee will marry Yothin. Arum relentlessly pursues Visanee, but she acts completely cold toward him. Though heartbroken, Arum refuses to give up.
Unable to tolerate this, Kusuma conspires with Yothin to separate the couple for good. Kusuma takes Arum to her house and lies to Visanee that she slept with Arum. Prompted by this, Visanee decides to get engaged to Yothin. Kusuma tries to seduce Arum but fails. Eventually, Kusuma loses her patience, scolds Arum for being a fool, and accidentally blurts out the truth about Nontalee and Yothin. Arum's eyes are instantly opened. He storms in and kidnaps Visanee on the day of her engagement. Visanee resists and runs away from Arum, getting hit by a car and losing consciousness. Amnuay takes Visanee back. While Visanee lies sick, Arum is extremely worried and tries to visit her but is constantly blocked. Kornkaew takes over nursing duties from Amnuay. When Visanee wakes up, she begins to view Kornkaew in a much better light.
Arum begs Kornkaew until he is finally allowed to visit Visanee. However, Visanee fakes amnesia to make Arum give up on her, and agrees to get engaged to Yothin once more. But the second engagement turns into chaos when Detchart brings in the young women Yothin had deceived to expose him in the middle of the event, along with evidence of his corporate embezzlement. Yothin flees for his life. Amnuay and Waew argue bitterly until Kornkaew yells at them, bringing them back to their senses. Arum takes the opportunity to bring Visanee back to the island to revive her memories. Visanee resists until she slips up, revealing to Arum that she had been faking her amnesia. Finally, the two are able to reconcile once again.
Arum brings Visanee to apologize to Amnuay, but Amnuay refuses to accept Arum. Kornkaew speaks up for them, making Amnuay realize he has been too strict with his daughter. He agrees to reconsider Arum by giving him his old position back at the company. Kusuma loses her mind when she finds out Amnuay has accepted Arum and Visanee's relationship. She storms in to shoot Visanee at the company's anniversary party but is apprehended by the police.
Meanwhile, Waew's life hits rock bottom. Yothin suggests kidnapping Visanee to extort a massive ransom from Amnuay. Greedy and easily deceived, Waew agrees. She tricks Visanee into visiting by claiming she is sick. Visanee is captured by Yothin according to the plan, as he promised Waew he wouldn't harm her. Arum and Detchart track them down to help. Yothin breaks his agreement with Waew and attempts to harm Visanee. Waew steps in to stop him, revealing to everyone that she was the mastermind behind the entire plot. Waew must face the consequences of her actions, but Visanee is still held captive by Yothin. Will Arum and Detchart be able to save Visanee from Yothin? What will happen to Visanee's fate? Will Visanee and Arum's love be able to move forward? Support the love of these two in the drama "Ubathet" (Accident), airing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:30 PM on Channel 7.
