Methin (Fluke), a handsome playboy, is forced by his mother to marry Aomjai (Four), the daughter of his mother's former lover. The two parents made a pact to have their children marry, with a massive inheritance used as leverage. Methin is unhappy about the arranged marriage, especially since he has just started hitting it off with a sexy girl named Cindy (Mai). However, his mother gives him an ultimatum: no marriage means no inheritance. Methin reluctantly agrees but secretly plans to pay Aomjai to pretend she hates men so the wedding will be canceled.
Methin travels to Ratchaburi to meet Aomjai and her father, Supot (Santisuk). Methin finds himself slightly attracted to Aomjai, but his feelings for Cindy are still stronger. Things get complicated when he realizes Supot is the exact same man he had a feud with over a coyote dancer at a club the night before! This sparks an immediate rivalry between the prospective father-in-law and son-in-law. Supot, seeing Methin as a useless playboy, doesn't want his daughter marrying him—which perfectly aligns with Methin's initial goal.
Aomjai plans a harsh and mischievous welcome for Methin. Deep down, she actually has a crush on him, so she acts extra mean to mask her true feelings. Meanwhile, Supot agrees to let Methin stay at their house out of respect for Methin's mother, but he plots to make Methin's life a living hell so he will give up and flee back to Bangkok on his own. Supot sends Methin to do heavy labor at his traditional clay water jar factory. However, Methin cunningly talks other workers into doing the job for him. This infuriates Supot, but Methin blackmails him with a video clip from the coyote club, making Supot unable to directly kick him out, though he never stops plotting to get rid of him.
Cindy, having just discovered that Methin is a wealthy high-society heir, tracks him down. She tries everything to win him back, but fails because Methin has genuinely started falling in love with Aomjai.
When Supot's community enterprise group faces a crisis, Supot throws the problem at Methin, declaring that if he can't fix it, the marriage is off. Using his skills, Methin successfully resolves the issue. Methin survives numerous tough tests thrown his way, and Aomjai begins to see his good heart, making her reconsider the marriage.
However, Cindy reveals to Aomjai that Methin's sole reason for the marriage is the inheritance. Methin is left speechless because it is the truth about how things started. Heartbroken and furious, Aomjai tears the marriage contract to pieces.
Determined, Methin steps up to properly woo Aomjai again—this time out of pure, true love.
Later, the province hosts a traditional water jar festival with a major competition. Tragedy strikes when Supot's factory is burned to the ground, seemingly destroying their chances of competing. The villagers are devastated, but Methin refuses to give up. He rallies the community and uses his business management skills to navigate the crisis, ultimately leading their team to victory.
In the end, Methin proposes to Aomjai using his mother's vintage ring. Aomjai happily says yes, confessing that she had actually loved him since the very first time they met.
