Synopsis
Kularb Satan (Satan's Rose)
15 years ago, Chok Chanaranop (James Ruangsak) murdered a family of landowners—a father, mother, and two children—to seize their land to build the Blue Ocean Marina hotel. This ruthless act marked the beginning of the massive hotel empire he owns today. Chatch (Captain Phutanate), Chok's younger brother, strongly disapproves of Chok's mafia-style business practices. He constantly tries to deter him and dedicates himself to raising Chinnapat (New Chaiyapol), Chok's only son, to be a good person in order to wash away the family's sins.
Recently, Chok murdered another landowner to snatch a prime plot of land that Member of Parliament Patawee Lertwittaya (Noom Attaporn) also had his eyes on, sparking a fierce conflict between the two powerful men. One day, while Chok and his family are relaxing on a yacht, a man breaks in to assassinate Chok. However, the one who takes the fatal blow is Chok's wife, Chinnapat's mother. Chok immediately assumes this attack is Patawee's doing.
The assassin disappears mysteriously. Fearing a repeat attack, Chatch sends Chinnapat to study hotel management at SHMS in Switzerland for his own safety. At the school, Chinnapat meets other Thai students: Pechaya (Note Panayanggool), Pusana (Junior Kornrawich), and Praima (Ploy Thanida), who happens to be Patawee's daughter. Praima declares herself Chinnapat's enemy the moment they meet, as her father had told her that Chinnapat's father is a mafia boss. While Chatch is away, Chok brings his men to intimidate Patawee right at his political party's headquarters. This deeply angers Patawee and only intensifies the bitter conflict between Praima and Chinnapat.
Meanwhile, Chatch meets Rose Haller (Bee Namthip), a mysterious young woman with a sixth sense who can foresee danger. She warns Chatch that Chok is being targeted because of the dark sins he committed in the past. Chok refuses to believe Rose and strongly despises her. Chatch, on the other hand, believes everything she says and falls in love with her. This causes a rift between the brothers, as Chok believes Rose has malicious intentions.
Chatch brings Rose to Switzerland to organize a birthday party for Chinnapat. Unexpectedly, the same assassin breaches the party to kidnap Chinnapat but fails. Chatch chases and shoots the assassin until he falls into the lake. No body is found; only a bullet-riddled coat is recovered. Everyone assumes the assassin died and sank to the bottom of Lake Geneva. In reality, the assassin survived. Veena Failman (Pang Ornjira), a Thai woman married to a Swiss man, saves his life. She discovers that he has amnesia and doesn't even remember his own name. Out of pity, Veena allows him to take refuge at her home.
Chinnapat and his friends eventually find traces of the assassin hiding at Veena's house. Chatch travels back to Switzerland to capture him. When Veena learns the truth that the assassin is Kongpat (Bank Preeti), a wanted criminal hunted by the police, she helps him escape just in time before Chatch arrives. Veena takes Kongpat back to Thailand to uncover his past. Kongpat eventually meets Rose, who reveals his true identity and the reason why he must kill Chok. However, Veena refuses to let Kongpat kill again, arguing that since he has forgotten his past, he should start anew. Kongpat is torn and doesn't know what to do.
Finally, the truth is exposed. When Chatch and Chinnapat learn about Kongpat's background, they discover the horrific extent of Chok's past evil deeds. Similarly, Praima learns about the filthy, corrupt background of her own father, Patawee.
Who is responsible for punishing the sins of the past? Who must pay the price? What is justice? What is right? Must a life truly be paid for with a life? How will this vicious cycle of evil end?
