Panan (Siripitchaya Wisitwaithayakakul) sneaks away from Yai Jeng (Duentem Salitul), an old servant who has raised her since her mother's death, to pick Buhnga flowers behind the coconut orchard. Suddenly, she spots a young man lying unconscious, covered in blood and bruises. Seeing the nameless man near death, she quickly has the workers carry him back to her house for treatment. However, when Nai Kiam (Santisuk Promsiri), her father, and Sahas (Puri Hiranprueck), his subordinate, see the young man's face, they are completely shocked. Nai Kiam gives an ultimatum, ordering the man to be thrown out, but Panan refuses. Meanwhile, Nawit (Phakin Khamwilaisak) regains consciousness and hears the argument. He accurately recognizes the voice of the fierce man—it belongs to Sahas, the very person who lured him out to be murdered the night before. Nawit realizes his only chance of survival is to fake amnesia. Seeing his "amnesia," Nai Kiam feels pity. With Panan begging for his life, Nai Kiam relents and lets Panan move him to a small house in the middle of the orchard, assigning Dua (Ood Pentor), an orchard worker, to look after him. Panan gives Nawit a new name: "Nai Phrao."
While recovering, Nawit tries to find out why he was targeted by subtly asking Panan about Nai Kiam. But Panan only speaks of her father's goodness, convincing Nawit that no one knows about Nai Kiam's ruthless side. Nawit becomes determined to tear off Kiam's mask. In truth, Nai Kiam was acting on the orders of Thanee (Phutanate Hongmanop), Nawit's own biological uncle, who devised a plan to lure Nawit to Ranong to be silenced. Thanee's ultimate goal is to seize all of Nawit's inheritance. Since things went awry, Nai Kiam has to hide the fact that Nawit is still alive from Thanee. However, Rarin (Nicole Theriault), Thanee's wife, grows suspicious of Nawit's disappearance. She sends her younger sister, Rasa (Pitchaya Chaowalit), to look for him in Ranong. Thanee finds out and orders his men to tail Rasa, eventually discovering that Nawit is still alive. Furious at Nai Kiam's disobedience, Thanee threatens to kill Kiam's beloved daughter, Panan, if he doesn't finish the job. Highly stressed but unwilling to send Nawit to his death, Nai Kiam devises a plan to swap Nawit with the corpse of an unidentified man, tricking Thanee into believing it is Nawit's body. Thanee is overjoyed, believing all the wealth will finally be his.
Eventually, the secret that Nawit is alive leaks out. Enraged by Nai Kiam's repeated deception, Thanee storms in to kill him, but Nai Kiam has already fled with Panan and his family. Panan is devastated to be parted from Nawit; during their time together, they had developed a deep, loving bond. Now knowing the whole truth—that the person who wants him dead is Thanee—Nawit promises Panan that once he deals with his uncle, he will return to her, and they will be together forever.
But things don't go as planned. Nawit suddenly gets into an accident that causes genuine amnesia, completely wiping out his memories of Panan. Thanee takes this opportunity to feed lies into Nawit's head, brainwashing him into believing that Nai Kiam is the one who tried to kill him because Nawit supposedly caught Kiam embezzling company funds. Meanwhile, Panan counts the days waiting for Nawit's return. But when they finally meet, Nawit doesn't remember her at all. Utterly heartbroken, Panan makes the painful decision to start a new life with Sahas, a man who has always loved and cared for her.
